That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

As we are starting to sell webspace, and have plans in the future for bigger and better things.. We decided to go legal.

Now under this we of course own nothing Sonic related, nor do we hold writes to anything held by SEGA, DIC, Cookie Jar, Archie Comics and the list goes on. However under this we have the right to sell, buy, and do pretty much whatever we want under the name of FUS, including selling and buying of shares.


So what does this all mean? Well, for starters Id like to see any other Sonic Fansite be as legal and a business like us. Secondly it means John and myself own a company together ohmy.gif And third.. I am now a foreign investor in Australia.

So you can expect to see more from us in the future outside of just SatAM. We even have thoughts and are now currently digging around the idea of publishing, and hosting comics.

Also this makes John and myself "Directors" of FUS.

So to quote John on this "And we are now, under the eyes of the Australian Business Act and Australian Securities and Investments Commission, a business."

Hmm what kind of business did you form? I never bothered to learn if Australia has the same types of things we do in the US. I have to imagine they are similar. If you have shares you must have some kind of corp, which is good.... kind of.

Alrighty. So now that you are a company, any idea on what kind of services you'll be providing?

And the bigger question. Is this going to affect us at all? Are we going to have to pay for board memberships?

Of course not mate, we're not that cheeky. I know Ratty's brain must be on Defcon 1 at the moment, looking for the political or evil corporate agenda behind all of this, but we are not going to start charging our members to use a message board. There's not going to be any 'premium membership' that get special access over 'free members', or any of that other under-handed funny-business. We will not be turning FUS into Xbox Live. The FUS website as it stands now, and as it has always stood, will not be altered, changed, rapped, or corporately molested in any way. You won't be seeing sponsored links flashing all over the place, your PM in-boxes will not suddenly flood with spam, and Donald Trump is not going to be a new ADMIN.

We're looking to expand hosting, maybe even publishing once we work out the fiddly little bits, all of which are not going to affect the daily occurrences, updates, members, and purpose of this SatAM website - which is selling baby souls.

Yeah, us turning into a buisness is not going to affect any of the daily going ons in here. Like John said, we are just wanting to branch out in a few different directions, from internet hosting, to hopefully getting into publishing. You won't see any pop up adds, or adds of any sort (outside of the internal advertiseing we do). FUS will still run and be the same.

You know, if you find at any point that you're struggling, there was a great idea in the book Filth by Irvine Welsh.

You set up a fake sex toy catalogue (you could make it all Sonic-related ones!) and advertise it. You make a point of saying that the customer's privacy will be paramount and they'll receive their goods in plain brown boxes and a very unspecific entry on their credit card statement. Don't bother buying any stock, you won't need it.

Start doing brisk trade. Receive payments, send nothing.

When people complain, say what they ordered was out of stock and discontinued. Send them a cheque for the amount they paid you, labelled something heinous like, The FUS Furry Sex Toy Bestial Spanking Emporium.

None of 'em will cash it.

Et voila! Free money!

Honestly, nobody could possibly know about this!
