When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Huh.. who woulda figured that they would just put the boxset into a whole bunch of DVD's that probably cost 20 times more all together. Yeah, one day might toss that onto the site. Guess I should. I should probably update a few things on that site.. Too bad I dunno how to code. haah. Nah, it'll get up eventually when we get too it. Thanks.

SatAM isn't the only DiC show that has a complete boxset that's getting this treatmeant, NCircle is doing the same thing to Zelda, AoStH, and the Mario cartoons as well. I think the point of these single disc DVDs is that they're simply cheap offerings for grocery/drug/bargain stores.

I spotted the FF Unite! DVD in my grocery store's Redbox, and since it's just a buck I rented it out of curosity to see what the menus are like. And just as I suspected, it's pretty bare bones. The menus are generic, and I bet all the NCircle/Cookie Jar releases share this same one:

^...is it just me, or did they make it look like Sally's wearing a peach colored leotard here?

I did fast-foward to the end of Spyhog, and just as I thought they cut the "Next Week: Doomsday" tag at the end (Obivously since Doomsday isn't on the disc).

That menu is ghastly.

I think the only good thing about these DVDs I can think of is that at they actually put some decent descriptions for the episodes on the back of the cases.
I spotted the Super Sonic one and I peeked at the back and was suprised to see they didn't reuse the descriptions from the 2002 one (No "Bunnie Robot" misspelling!), instead the descriptions were new, lengthy ones which almost descibe the whole episode.

It's not just you. I noticed exactly the same thing the first time I saw the box for "Freedom Fighters Unite!", which of course has exactly the same pic of Sally (just flipped around). The look kinda works (assuming of course it only looks like that from the front!), but is a bit too much of a departure from her established design.

One also wonders why she's missing the vest (and yet has Season 2 eyes). Antoine's drawn Season 2 style, Rotor's Season 1 style, and Bunnie's just awkwardly drawn. tongue.gif

Another result of the bad art, on the disc itself there's a full, unobstructed view of Rotor...who has no toes.

At least inspector gadget isn't plastered all over the menus and such. I too saw one of these at my local redbox. It's great seeing a new SATAM DVD outing since the boxset a few years back.
