I am abit embarrassed to say, that I never stopped being a fan of Power Rangers, despite I know how ridiculous and cheesy the show was. Power Rangers fans nerds can make even Star Wars geeks look regal and sophisticated
My favorite person from the show was always, Lord Zedd the emperor. I've even wanted to cosplay as him, even meeting by chance the original suit designer of the character. The memorabilia of him really sucks...all that's out there is this very shoddy looking toy.
Anyway, I knew the actor Robert Axelrod who is the voice actor of Lord Zedd, went to cons and such to do autograph signing and Q&A's that I seen on youtube and I really wanted an autograph of him. I was too chickenshit scared to ask him directly so I went around searching ebay for any autographs which turned up zilch. So finally, I worked up the nerve and sent him an email asking if this was ok and all and I'd pay him for his time yada-yada while telling him how much I appreciated what he did and the hours of enjoyment I got out of him as a kid.
To my surprise he answered me back right away thanking me for the nice letter and he'd only ask me 10 dollars which I thought was a generous offer.I decided to go the extra mile,taking these two drawings I did of the char. and had them made up into prints and sent them to him as a surprise gift.

So I sent it out to him and after we exchanged a few more words over email,I got this in the mail!

Along with a little note saying thank you for the pictures.
It's awesome getting to meet people you admire. X3

Besides being from the Pwer Rangers.... Pretty cool. Must be pretty neat collecting stuff from people you like.

I'll never forget one of my first posts on the much older board to Aisha Clan Clan is that the power rangers always won the same way. They'd morph into Optimus Prime and use one swords slash to win. Lame.

Also, they fought in the same city I guess. It means the rent in that city would be very cheap. Also, it's amazing how it gets rebuilt so quickly.

Obviously, we care more about the villians in this show more than we do the heroes. I guess it's up to us to redefine what we find right with fiction.

That is pretty cool. I hate power rangers but getting an autograph from an artist who's work you've really enjoyed is great.

Hopefully my response is actually better than the subect. I'm also posting to let you know I have the most posts today at this moment. More than twice the next most person.

All the PR's head villians are cool. Mr. Ooze destroys his own minions instead of giving them another chance.

Lord Zedd to me was how a villain should be.Regal,powerful,scary,and commanding.He made the show so dark that the soccer moms bitched to Saban about him.Robert Axelrod also did a number of other voices for the show but this one always got the most popularity.

Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa were two of the very few decent characters in Power Rangers. They were always fun to watch.
