Dude that is not going to be the first game or one of the better games I'll make. I am going to make one even if I just put it on a website for everyone to play and just sell adspace, but I also have a couple of other game ideas that I am now making the Game Design Document for (GDD) which I'm going to make before the SatAm game.

It would use sonics ability of speed, Rotors use of technology, Sally's brains, Tails flight, and Bunnies Strength. I would like to see the game in 3D with many interactive parts. I would put characters in certain missions with eachother so team work can be incorporated. My idea of the enemies would be mostly swat botts and stealth bots. There would be boobie traps and other opsticles like acid, lava, and megamuck. The bosses would have to be giant robots to keep the classical flow of the game. There will be collectables for all the characters like power rings for pertection like in most sonic games, speed shoes, and deep power stones for invincibility.

Choosing between a variety of characters (Sonic, Sally, Bunnie, Antoine) teaming up on co op and beating the hell out of waves of Swatbots. Only liberties that would need to be taken here are maybe updated looks for the characters, and adding some villains from the Archie comic for Boss battles.

Unfortunately, that is very true.
Because Sega are such butt heads about this amazing genre, no one could sell a game about Sonic Satam without getting nailed with a huge lawsuit.

In the Pokemon tv show, Ash having Pikachu as his own choice made things interesting. In the games, that was annoying compared to the dynamic of being able to choose between charmander, squirtle, and bulbasaur. The lack of options plus Pikachu being terrible against the first gym is really annoying.
I remember when playing Sly 2: Band of Thieves, at first being able to play as the other characters was fun. I really just wanted to play as Sonic. Then it got really annoying. Same with Sonic Adventure 2. I wanted to play as Sonic and Tails but not Knuckles.
So, I think the same would end up happening with a SatAM game. First it would be cool being all stealthy as Sally, but in the end, I would want more Sonic gameplay and less Sally gameplay. To be true to the show, you would have to split them far more evenly than I would find enjoyable. Also, while level variety is there for SatAM, enemy variety still would be lacking compared to the games.
So, my vision? Keep Sally's gameplay to a minimum, and maybe throw in some playing as Antoine (running away slowly), Rotor (deploying and using mechanical devices), and of course, Bunny, making short work of SWAT bots. Of course, those three wouldn't get as much screen time as Sally.
Definitely, recon and mini-missions would be in order before main attacks, just like in Assasin's Creed, Sly 2, Crackdown, and many other such games.
Also, keep the SWAT bots and hover units and all, but give them more different types of arnaments, and add more enemies too.

Plot-wise I think it should tie in Season 1 with Season 2. Like explain where Dulcey came from and why other changes happened.
There would be Rings which would work like Rings in the old Genisis Games and then Power Rings which would act like a power up.
And of course while I am at it, there would be a good plot tieing it all together.
And I think it should be handheld. Like on the DS so it be like you're playing it on NICHOLE.

Anyways I would like to say I'm a insanely big fan of Sonic Satam and still can't beleave Sega hasent made a Sonic Satam fan game by the way before I continue typing just want to say if I say something you don't like just ignore it please after all new here and this is me rambling at the mouth.
with that said I would like to point out I Ideal thought of how a Sonic Satam game should be.
1) character game play. Sonic should have all his ability such as Spin dash the figure eight run and as for the power ring he should get those in the monitor things I would also suggest he should get those great new ability he had from the lost Sonic Saturday fan game such as that quill shot but they shouldn't be silver they should be blue it just looks wrong for the quills that shoot off his body to turn silver sense he is not a robot. lastly for sonic I think he should be able to go super with the power stones or seven chaos emeralds.
2) Knuckles should have the spin dash and gliding he is known for also should be able to punch as well as drill dive and should be able to punch upward.
3) Sally should be able to do a spin dash in a force field generated by her computer Nicole. also hacking is good for her but I think sense she is more athletic she should have a cartwheel kick attack starts out as a cartwheel and than turns into a jump kick. killing swat bot on impact as well as any other bad-nick also to mention the enemy's I think an enemy should not die form just one hit it doesn't make sense to me that a highly advanced robot like a swat bot would die from just one hit but maybe 3 or 4 hits after all the boss Robot nick has 8 hits usually.
4) Bunny is probably going to be one of the best to play as cuz she is a power house if she had a spin dash I would imagine it would be powered by the thrusters on the bottoms of her feet. With Her robotic arm she could extend-o punch far away enemy's and with her blaster she could have a charge ability as well as the power to extend her legs that would be fun to play with to say the least.
5) Mighty should play like sonic with the spin dash and all but mighty should have a hard spin dash as in if you spin in place for a long enough time than you see treads appear around Mighty's body resembling the treads an armadillo has the hard spin dash should make it so Mighty can knock down enemy's that no one else can and be able to go through walls that no one else can leading to new levels.
6)Tails should have his spin dash and a tail attack were he uses his tails to kill enemy's. also when you get him moving fast enough when he has his tails doing the helicopter behind him than he should have a boost that he can preform than.
7)Vector the crocodile should have his chain saw spin dash like in knuckles chaoticx's also as a power up he should be able to use a sound attack form his head set to kill enemy's.
8) Antone should be playable but I have no clue as to how he could pull of a spin dash but on the bright side he could wield a sword and have a Calvary charge while running with the sword in front of him like the attack link does when he uses the Pegasus boots.
9) Espio give him all the moves he had in knuckles chaoticx's and that really cool color changing ability and an ability to use his tongue as an attack as well as a way to get around the level.
10) Rotor/Boomer if he was playable he should have the ability to belly slide and head but the enemy as well as hack computers.
11) chammy should play like he did in knuckles chaoticx and that's all i have to say about that character.
12) Shadow Sonic 1 Mega Mix did it best if that can be improved upon I don't know how.
13) July Su if she was in said game than she should have a spin dash a gun and some kind of attack from her metal tentacal.
Bosses i would suggest would be the real Robotnick Snivily knuckles great uncle Enerjack, and Ixis
Nagus as well as Nack the Weasel.
please don't slay me for the miss spellings and i would love to here your input of this line up.

To be honest I found it laughable.honestly (and this is my opinion) Sonic Epoch did a GREAT JOB of being a sonic satam fan game and while there is foul language involved in the game it's still fun to play

I agree...I lasted maybe 5 minutes on it. Between the storyline and the gameplay...it just didn't hold me.

Antoine maybe kind of a Monkey Island style (sword fighting with goofy insults, for example).
Sonic and Tails as usual...
Sally would have similar platforming, but with puzzles to solve (to make use of her smarts).
Rotor would have to drive some mechs (like in some of the Mega Man X games).

I agree...I lasted maybe 5 minutes on it. Between the storyline and the gameplay...it just didn't hold me.
I beat the first couple levels, didn't like the story, didn't like the gameplay, so I stopped playing it.

You get given orders and objectives/missions by a commander, King Max and Chuck and your exploits will cover various events from Blast to the past and some new original missions. I have an idea that involves making a heroic sacrifice to save the young Freedom Fighters as they escape.

Very interesting concept...I think it would work pretty good. Especially the end...you die however you do so ensuring there's still hope for the future of Mobius.Just to go a bit leftfield... How about a First person Shooter, wait! Dont run away! Let me explain...
