When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

I like Sally's subtle reservations in that last panel concerning Tails on the mission. Nice little moments like that is what I dig.

Outstanding! Let's bring a small child on a recon mission against a powerful being we really know nothing about! I see no way this could possibly go wrong!

For all of their smarts, the freedom fighters continually make boneheaded descisions for their mission parties. Sonic is stupid for saying Tails can go. Sally is even worse for not immediately disagreeing with it and laying out logical reasons for why Tails should not go.

But then again, Tails is probably a much better choice than Antoine.

Canonically, this is right on par with the series. They're all children and children make stupid descisions all the time.

I remember during the first chapter, there was some spud called 'sonxsalforever' or something like that who begged for a scene where Sonic and Sally kiss. I know he'll be very happy with this page. tongue.gif

Strange, however, that Sonic and Sally are darkened in the last panel when they don't appear to be in the shadow of the trees. And is it just me, or does Rotor look oddly squashed in the first panel? Drawing a character close to the edge can have that effect, Salamander. On the plus side, the inking looks significantly improved. What's your secret?

a.) Spud. Hee. <3

b.) He didn't beg for A SonSal kiss. He begged for SonSal kissing to be the whole of the Comic. lD;

c.) If I were a betting man, I'd wager good money he's not even going to comment on this page, let alone see it. X3

All I could think of when drawing Rotor was "god he looks stoned", and wondering if I should keep him like that since Rotor is a pretty chill dude anyway.
My inking secret- switched to a smaller tip pen, and turned down the opacity of the linework slightly. I finally figured out that when there's a lot of colour and shading, the lines should be thinner and more faint, so they don't clash. Looking back at my references for inks, old print comics mostly, the inking was bigger and had more depth, since the colours were minimal or nonexistant. These examples for instance- minimal/no backgrounds, pale colours and no shading- so the inks are dominant.
Seems obvious now, but oh well. I guess I'll save fancy big inking for another comic.

Hahaha, when I first saw this I was thinking "All he needs is blood shot eyes..". Then I just read your reply now and laughed that you think you drew him stonned too. Looks great though. And yes, he is a pretty layed back guy.

Another solid page. The writing and the art brings this comic alive that little bit more each time, getting to the point where it is finding it's own voice - if that makes any bloody sense to anyone else.
