@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

I think for early you must have been asleep for a bit. Late is at the stage after midnight but havent slept any yet.

Well, thats my logic on that.

Don't make Tristan angry. You won't like him when he's angry.

Think of Trekkie rage, Phantom Menace rage, and waiting-in-line-at-the-post-office rage all mixed into one super angry man. He will destroy you and your puny fire arms, Vlad. You are like the buzzing of flies to him!

1: Firearms is one word.
2: That's what they said about the other people I've beaten up. At least one of them was actually roughly twice my size.
3: I've not used a weapon in any of the fights I've been in. I took them apart with my bare hands.
4: Nerd Rage vs Short Guy Rage... That could make for an interesting episode of The Deadliest Warrior...

Oh shut up with your bloody I'm short and I can kick everyones ass. I'm short too and I'm not going around every few posts going on about how I can beat everyone up cause I am just that awesome at it. Your fucking annoying at it is what you are. At first it was haha funny. But you are just starting to get far too annoying.

Just take it easy on your telling us that you can kick our asses. Cause its doing nothing for you. Telling someone on the net that you can kick their ass is as productive as shooting yourself in the foot just before a marathon.

Perhaps I have mistaken other people's posts for challenges or threats and acted as I was brought up to: to counter a threat with a threat of your own. And you learn how to kick ass, or get walked all over by those who're bigger than you. All of the fights I have been in were started by such people. They hit me first and I went into self-defense mode and kicked their asses. The best analogy I can think of is akin to a rattlesnake: Someone threatens to stomp on you, you remind them that doing so could be the last thing they do. And if they do stomp on you, you at least put a severe hurtin' back on 'em. If I have been overly self-defensive as such, then I apologize for that/those mistake(s). I am deficient in some areas of social skills, and may have a skewed outlook based on my past. Such a problem should have been brought to my attention earlier.

Considering everyone here only jokes, and you take it as an act of aggression and tell us all about your guns and fists, I say you definitely mistake other people's posts. Hell, you practically declare war on anyone here that dares to post youtube videos. Lighten up, Osama. No one here is out to get ya.

Besides, Tristan is an expert in the arts of Quack-Fu, and you wouldn't last three rounds in a revolving door.

No. An eye for an eye makes the world go blind.

No. It just makes a lot of people invest in eyepatches. The quote only works if you're talking about revenge, which can be a cycle of violence. Punishing people for criminal offenses is not revenge. It's justice. And if properly done, is a deterrent to would-be future criminals.

In that case, punishment is little more than state-sanctioned vengeance.

So it's a fair punishment to maim people for being douchebags on the Internet?

Cool. I'll see you in a few minutes, Vlad smile.gif I'll bring my scissors.

No. It's fair punishment to maim sex offenders and other criminals. Douchebags are only punishable by for being a douchebag IRL, as everyone on the internet is a douchebag to some extent. Usually by blackening their eyes and breaking their noses.

Though, you're welcome to try... Just don't expect to be able to walk away from the attempt...

There is no such thing as fair punishment.

Webcams, and online multiplayer are privileges, not rights.
It is okay to use privileges, but if one abuses them said person deserves to lose them.

That is my opinion on the issue. Of course, the only online multiplayer game I play right now is Mario Kart Wii. I might play Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Saturn Valley Online again in the future. (Just played them once or twice online.)
