Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Since we missed a month here's a perfect way to fill in the gap. Sonic and Sally make it to the floating island to be transported back in time. They find their younger selfs and Chuck but are unable to prevent the take over.

Will anything be as we remember it?

I don't think we ever found out if the change saved the two freedom fighters from the first part.

I think "Blats to the Past" as a whole may be my favorite episode of Season 2, though I realize with two episodes comprising it that's a bit unfair. Still, the storyarc really works for me, and there are just so many great emotional moments throughout, with only a handful of the odd plot choices other SatAM episodes tend to make (Sonic's anti-grav shoes popping out of nowhere to save him 'n' Sally in part 2 comes to mind, though...>3>). Plus, this is Cummings at his absolute best with Robotnik, and some of Robotnik's best dialogue ("I already hate you...") to boot. And, most of all, I think this backstory is stronger for the show than the one Season 1 was working off of but never made explicit. I think the elements of lost childhood and a far longer struggle with Robotnik than originally envisioned serves to strengthen the gravitas of the Freedom Fighters' struggle. A+ all the way around. happy.gif

It's hard to evaluate fiction objectively. On the downside their adventure into the past might have caused more damaged than the loss of two freedom fighters. As much as we would like to change the past and/or know some future outcomes there's no way to imagine the effects in real time.

Still, if all Sally needed was a ring to convince her father then Sonic and her should have went back a year before the coup. Also, I wonder how long Rosie would keep it a secret. I think about a year or two before Sonic and Sally go back from Knothole, Rosie should realize and warn them they've gone back too soon.

But, you know how fiction goes.

B+ if that's anywhere near objective?

I'm pretty fond of the BTTP-two parter. I love seeing the way it was before Robotnik. And of course, there's some nice illumination of Sniv's past... how he appeared to look up (not just literally) to his uncle before becoming his bitch tongue.gif Being betrayed by Robotnik adds more depth to his character.

I wished they'd shown more of the pre-coup days during the show, like in flashbacks or something. I'm never too sure on how I feel about time-travel stories though. But I like this one.
The only thing I don't like is the explanation for Sniv's baldness. I laugh at the scene, sure, but I really don't care for the idea. If Sonic's movement was enough to rip out a head of human hair, why doesn't Sally's fur get ripped out, or Robotnik's mustache? My way of reasoning was maybe Sniv was sick, or undergoing some experimental thing from Robotnik that made his hair follicles loose and delicate. xD.png It did lead to the awesome line from Robotnik though... 'I see we have a new look...' *smirk*

Yes I nitpick anything to do with Sniv tongue.gif

Oh yeah and the classic pervy line 'Can you make me happy twice in one day, Snively?' is in BTTP! LOL SLASHIMPLICATIONS!

Sonic's obsession with chilidogs does make one wonder about the money system in Mobius. He never seems to pay the guy at the chilidog stand.
