@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Oh! I see now. *checks screenshots* Hands one cuff, feet double but still tiny. And rounder hands maybe? I probably did those out of habit. Didn't really think much about the hands.
Anything else?

*sigh* The travel plans I mentioned last month have fallen through, so I reiterate my desire to illustrate this short. I don't know if John has seen this, but here's a collage of the completed Sally comic I made:

Although the designs here are more Sega/Archie based, I am capable of delivering a SatAM style for the job. I don't have any SatAM sketches on hand just now, but if you need convincing, take a look at these sketches of characters from 80's cartoons. This is my first time drawing these characters, and I think it's proof enough that I can reproduce the style of any given cartoon with high fidelity.

Looking back on this Sally comic, I overexerted myself working 12 hours every day, and I think this short would give me the opportunity to develop a quicker, more efficient colouring method that still conveys an 'animation screenshot' look. As for payment, I remember last time I requested $50 per page for the quality of the Sally comic. But since that appears to be over your budget and I'll be streamlining my work anyway, I'll knock it down to $300 for the short. That a good deal for the time and effort I'll be investing, and you know I can do a good job. I'm looking forward to this.

Glitcher: Gorgeous work. Yeah, very heavy SEGA/Archie inspired but I can easily see the level of professionalism you could bring to Sea3on (love, love love the colouring). However your price throws out my budget I've set aside for these Shorts (yes, I have a Sea3on budget - don't laugh ya bastards). I know some artists that strive to make a living on their drawings, so I'm not going to sit here and expect you to sell yourself any shorter than what you already have. Really not looking to take advantage of ya.

(I would like to have a proper read of that Sally comic of yours though - where is it?)

I understand. If you ever change your mind, drop me a PM. And I don't mean to be a tease, but as I explain in the original thread, I won't be uploading full pages of this Sally comic because it features fan service of the worst kind! Trust me, you'd be more disgusted than entertained. sick01.gif

Obviously you don't know most of FUS too well..sick fuckers. Id let you upload it providing there is nothing pedo about it. And you put a bunch of NSFW on it.

Anyways, yeah even with the money I just got back out of my taxes.. 300 is just more then what we will spend on a short. For John and myself. Sorry bud, hope you get money somewhere but it's not going to be from us any time soon.

Glitcher, that's a pretty awesome comic you got there. That artwork's amazing for something done by only one person.
It's a shame that you can't work on the Sea3on comic.

The job's all yours, MaRaMa. smile.gif I'll PM the script and other details to you.

And we may as well start opening up a position for Short #3 as the script is ready to go and needing an artist to look after it. Apply here as before.

Date's good. Gives me time to free my schedule and also to heal my back as I hurt it a while ago and can't spend a lot of time sitting at the computer and I'm taking meds for the pain that make me drowsy.
Once I start drawing them, I'll be sending you previews as I work on them in case you'd like things changed and such. That's how I work. Constantly showing what I'm doing to be sure it's what you want and so I don't spend a lot of work in something you might not like and having to start over.

Thanks again for choosing me!~
This is gonna be the best work I've done. I'll make sure it's worth every penny~

Should have made this update weeks ago: Shorts #3, and now #4, have been filled by artists. At his time we are so far ahead of schedule we won't be needing any more artists at this time. I'll keep you guys updated when we are ready with another script. smile.gif

I just received the final pages of next Sea3on Short from Glitcher. No spoilers, but all I will say is people are going to be sniffling back tears when they read it.

And on that note it looks like we are going to need an artist for Short #4. MaRaMa unfortunately had to drop out due to health concerns, and we all wish her a speedy recovery (wish her a speedy recovery, you bastards!). So, as always, apply here if you're up for the job. It's still a paid commission, unless your name is Kef.

Well, here is what I've done of comic art if you want to look me over. I just would have to pass the pages I do over to someone to do the dialogue balloons
