I want to explain my recent behavior.

last year I made an account on fus and satam. my account for Saturday morning sonic was henryii and my account here was spoonful. I'm new to posting on forums and to being in a fandom as a whole, so for awhile i didn't realize that people repeat their accounts in other forums.

My new account here as henryii was made to streamline myself more in the fandom as I had already used the name in several other forums. i realize that i should have just contacted an admin to do the job for me, but as i said am a newbie when it comes to forums and didn't have the thought in my head at the time like some more experienced members.

Since I've been a regular member of sms and browser of this forum, I guess I didn't realize that this behavior would could cause this much controversy. fus and sms seem to overlap in my mind so I thought that people would I guess recognize me a bit more. this comment was made in my usual sense of humor and is really no different then the usual Bacchian humor used around here

You pretty much just answered your own question. It's not within reason for FUS. I only got the cliff notes, but it's under-age kiddie rootin' stuff. You know, the kind of stuff that would see us lose our hosting due to those funny terms and conditions I signed? At the end of the day most of us probably wouldn't really care one way or another on the matter, but I ( and the rest of the staff) still have to be responsible for this place. Ho boy. Nearly sixty replies and I haven't even posted the sodding comic. I guess this topic could serve as a textbook for anyone wishing to promote an upcoming project. ¬_¬

The requests and speculation are starting to get out of hand, so it's time I settled it. Look, although the fan service involved is not overtly sexual in nature, it does involve indecent contact with a minor. Alright? There, I said it. According to Chief, that sort of behaviour is not encouraged on FUS. In order to judge just how inapproriate it is, I sought a second opinion from another member who shall not be named. She told me she found the gratuity much lighter than expected, and in a sense she's right. There's no nudity or bodily fluids or anything involving sexual organs that you might find in a typical Rule 34 comic. So why am I so reluctant to share it? Because in many ways this comic reveals a very personal and private side of my fantasies.

It's difficult for me to put into words just why I can't show a comic with sub-pornographic fan service, but perhaps I can offer an analogy. Imagine you had to pose naked in front of your art class. The students probably wouldn't mind because they're used to that sort of thing, but you would feel deeply embarassed for publicly exposing yourself like that. You wouldn't be able to look at your classmates without being conscious of the fact that they've all seen you naked. It's basically how I feel about this stupid five-page comic that I both love and hate. I can't share it without exposing myself. Even if you're not offended, you'll probably laugh at its inanity and I'll be remembered as the wally who drew it. I thought that a few random panels would be enough to show off the artwork, but the story is just too warped and embarassing to read.

If it's any consolation, I do have other news. Although it hasn't been formally announced in spite of others doing the same, I've been selected to illustrate one of the upcoming Sea3on shorts. It may be the third or fourth in line, or perhaps even the second if Mara's health doesn't improve. I've been at it for more than a month, which is why I haven't posted any new art lately, and I'm pleased to say that it's a big improvement over Dolls. John, who so far has seen the sketchwork, is equally impressed with the results. I'm trying a new shading style, and the panels I've coloured so far feels like I'm watching SatAM all over again. So if you're disappointed that you won't be reading Dolls, at least take heart from the fact that you'll be getting an even better comic that's twice as long some time in the future. Your patience will be rewarded.
