Hi there, I'm new here. *waves* I've been ghosting for a while, but I waited to post until I had this pic ready. It's a collage of a short Sally comic I drew recently called "Dolls":



This is my first attempt at Sonic fan art and one of my most ambitious attempts at a colour comic. It was inspired by Blast to the Past, Sonic #16 and Sonic Super Special #9. Although I've been drawing comics all my life, they were mostly in black and white and I needed to improve myself drawing colour pages before tackling an original comic I hope to publish. I'm sorry for not uploading full pages (nor do I intend to once FUS' comic section comes online), but this was just a practice comic which features some... rather crude fan service. Still, I thought this collage would be safe to upload and unleash my artistic powers upon the site. I had hoped I might even be able to illustrate the upcoming Sea3on short, but unfortunately chalcara got in a few days before me. At least this collage might serve as a demonstration of what I can bring to Sea3on. Shower me with praise if you want me to win the next commission.

That is incredible! Very nice looking. I think, but not positive, the shorts switch off. Like chalcara has the first one, Mara has the second, and so on. Don't take my word for it though, as it's really more John or chief you'd have to ask about that. I don't think they have a third yet.

Shame you won't be posting any full pages, you've got a lot of talent. Compositionally, technically, and conceptually, it all works really well. I do have to admit, I'm curious as to where the "fan service" is, though; I mean, yeah, adult Sally's chest is showing in spots, but it does that in general. Or are you referring to the non-sexy kind of "fan service"? Either way, diggin' your work very much; even if you never post the whole thing, I'd be interested to know what if any story there is behind this image, because I'm a HUGE sucker for "Journey to the Center of the Mind"-type tales, and that looks a lot like what this is.

I am speechless. Your work is amazing. These are some of... probably the best fan drawn comics I have seen. If you will not be hosting any more images with FUS, will there be a place where we can see more of your work?

I've seen the term applied to general indulgences that favor longterm fans, things like Continuity Porn and overlooked but well-liked characters receiving more attention. But yes, I too was under the assumption the sexual kind was the dominant kind.

EDIT: I also just saw a pic in your online gallery that features Marina from Mischief Makers, one of the most underrated-but-amazingly-awesome video games of all time. Her presence in your gallery in addittion to the Sally comic likens you unto a God in my book. So...good on you. :3

In that case, I insist you capitalise your pronouns when referring to Me. Aye, Mischief Makers is a truly enjoyable and underrated old-school platformer. There's a spunky charm about Marina that made me include her on that group shot of favourite video game girls. One of these days I'll have to draw more fan art of her. Shake shake!

...predominant. Out of this world. Momentous. Magnificent. Hrm..what else is there? Oh well, in short, you're the best artist I've ever seen. And I'm saying this with complete honesty. I'm DYING to read the entire comic, and I bet everyone else would like to as well. Also, if you're reading this Chief, you should find a spot for Glitcher. He's an amazing artist and everyone at FUS would undoubtedly love to see him draw for Sea3on.

Just let everyone else I'd like to see the whole story. But how inappropriate is the "fan service"? Is it X-rated (Like a sex scene), or R-rated (Sally with nipples exposed and such)? If it's the latter, you could always edit those pages by coloring over the naughty parts...but I'm guessing it's something that can't be easily altered (And I'm also guessing it isn't simple fan service like Sally sans boots and vest like they've shown her in Archie, which isn't a big deal)

EDIT: I just noticed that in one of the panels Sonic mentions "that [Sally] could use a snuggle [herself]", so I guess it is a sex scene. If that's the case, could you redo those pages to show it in a tasteful way (Like skipping to afterwards and just showing Sonic and Sally in bed together with the covers over them and talking to each other? You know, soap opera level stuff?) It's just that the story seems interesting, and I think the scenes of Sally interacting with her younger self are really cute. It just seems too good not to show the whole thing (Not the Sonic/Sally sex part if there is one, but its the "Blast To The Past" setting and them still interacting with their young counterparts aspect that makes me want to see it).
