Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Sadly, I have seen Sonic paired with everyone in the his universe and many other universes for that matter. (Sometimes I wish I could unsee things.... (shudders) The Robotnik/Eggman ones are the worst.

Sonic x Blaze:

 

Based on the information in the game Sonic Rush, Blaze isn't a very sociable person, only opening up to Cream and later Sonic because Cream insisted.  Sonic is the first Male character to accept her fire abilities (something she's ashamed of for some reason....mutant genes I guess?).  

 

In Archie Comics, it's hinted that she might have feelings for Sonic due to the fact their dreams were connected somehow and she was quite impressed with his skills.

Depends on who you want to start the relationship.

 

If Bunnie is going to move first there is two ways I can think of:

1) Bunnie and Sally have a falling out where Sally was the one out of line/at fault.  Sonic goes to comfort Bunnie and in her emotional state she kisses him and things grow from there.

2) Sally goes missing/comatose/dead.  Bunnie tries to comfort Sonic over the loss and things grow from there.  

 

If Sonic is going to make the first move:

1) Sonic and Sally break up.  Sonic goes to complain to Bunnie about Sally but ends up instead just talking to Bunnie.  He eventually asks Bunnie out but she initially refuses not wanting to hurt her friendship with Sally.  However after a while Bunnie gives in and goes out with Sonic.

2) Sonic just starts spending more time with Bunnie that he starts falling for her.

 

The big kicker here is Bunnie won't start the romance without either 1) Sally being out of the picture for one reason or another, or 2) an ending or falling out between Sally and Bunnie because Bunnie is a loyal friend and won't do anything to hurt Sally.  Sonic on the other hand wouldn't purposely hurt Sally but could easily start falling for Bunnie if his focus was shifted.

 I think the perfect mix would be a combination of 1A and 2B, make it grow from both sides to the middle (Lady and the Tramp Style :biggrin:). Sonic can indeed easily start falling for Bunnie subconciously if Sally becomes more absentee, but that doesn't have to be an eatrth-shattering event. You could make the romance way more real, by just having her grow distant from Sonic, by being enraptured with her (unhealthy?) obsession to restore the Kingdom and find her father. Sonic wants to live life a little, be a teenager a bit and not suffer, moap, and harp on things all the time. Bunnie can't afford to be muadlin and supports so many with her optimism, but she's a battle scared woman (and that is wretchedly sad for a female to go through) and she needs support too. They could easily fall face first into each other if you just mixed these two elements up. And Sally, this way would still be in the picture, and it would effect her arc as a character and the story, rather than just having her static through the whole events as dead (horrible idea, aborting the arc of one of the best characters in the series), comatose (Sonic and Bunnie look like immoral jerks as she sits their suffering in bed; Sonic would be trying to find a way to restore her), missing (still a bit morally-gray, Sonic would be obessive in fiinding her)   It could grow, but it would have to be slow. And the other option I think opens the door for more character dynamics.

One of the main issues I see in my opinion is that Sally was created with the intention of being Sonic's girlfriend. I definitely see it working, but as RedAuthar said with Sally in the picture it wouldn't happen. For that matter I don't see any pairing with Sonic working as long as Sally was in the picture. Bunny would have to get pretty angry at Sally to even pick Sonic up on the rebound; I don't believe it's in her nature to be that cruel to a friend. However, that being said, given the right circumstances it definitely could happen; something like having a special moment that leads into another until eventually they are a couple without intending it; kind of like slowly turning up the water temperature so the frog doesn't realized that it's being boiled alive. Okay, I know that's a very bad analogy, but you get the picture.

That's the thing...it's really hard without completely removing Sally from the picture.  Even if Sally was just "busy" doing other things, Bunnie wouldn't betray their friendship by making a move on Sonic.  They'd have to have become enemies or Sally would have to have been removed from the equation entirely.

  Or Sally goes through a character arc that Sonic and Bunnie don't like and feel uncomfortable about... :shiftyeyes: then that gap starts get filled by the union of themselves. 

 

 Bytor has something, you gotta admit that it would be a shocker after being stuck surviving together after some harsh, fateful night, just them, that they just find it happening before there even aware of it. The ball's been rolling for a couple of episodes, have it to where they are an unconcious couple by defualt for short time, cutting up and enjoying each other's company (like friends do) and then a hug of victory after a very tense and action packed episode together their intentionally friendly embrace just turns into a kiss, and they break apart, ashamed (but wanting more).  

 

This has actually happend to me once... :/
