I also find it odd that all the Sonic characters could breath in space while Chris had to wear a space suit.


Overall, I have never wanted a character to die so badly before I met Chris.


The only episodes I found worth watching were the ones with the Chaotix in it. They were hilarious. And I heard the ones with Perfect Chaos were pretty good too.

Probably because those episodes already had grounded characters and story. The monstrosity you see throughout the show is what 4Kids made, and mainly why its torture.

Wow.

I can't believe I was once a fan of the series. But after watching SatAM and SU, it made me realize just how crappy Sonic X really was (by "crappy", I mean the 4kids dub). After watching the Japanese version though, I was surprised to see just how decent the show really was. But yes, it still had its share of flaws.

This is part of the reason I hate Sonic X.
Sonic X had some good ideas, but they never went anywhere. Plus I hate how the character's were written.
Sonic became laid-back and lazy.
Tails was boring.
Knuckles became really stupid.
Amy became a craze insane fangirl, who everyone was afraid of making mad.

Dr. Eggman became a joke. It was hard to take him serious as a villain.
And then there was Chris who seemed to be the star of the show.

I'm gonna jump on the anti-Chris bandwagon and say he was perhaps one of the reasons I hated the show the most. But he wasn't the only reason. Most of the characters annoyed the hell out of me. Amy, tails, the professor, etc. I honestly LIKED Knuckles having Atem's voice! It just sounded so funny whenever he confronted one of the characters! To me Sonic was kinda........lacking in personality, but believe me he was much more tolerable than most of the other characters. Eggman was only mildly threatening at best.

It was nice that the show tried to follow the Sonic Adventure series story lines, but honestly, the annoying characters, terrible dialog and mildly poor writing kept me away from the show.

If they're gonna make a TV show based off of Sonic, Sega should have had at least make it entertaining to watch.

Instead, we got a joke of a show that could have been good had it actually tried.

I think what makes this even more ironic and laughable is the fact Sega of Japan gave this show its full seal of approval, and yet animated shows that Sega hated like Sonic Satam and Sonic Underground made by DIC were actually a much more entertaining and quality product to look at.

Don't get me wrong, Sonic Underground is indeed a very bad show, but it is still better one made IMO than Sonic X.

I swear, how do those incompetent buffoons stay in business? They've butchered and warped every animated show they could get their hands on, and yet they're still kicking.

Why is no one demanding this company be held responsible for its crimes of degradation to animated shows? If I had made an animated tv show that was really cool and then see 4Kids butcher and rape it, I'd have taken them to court and sue them big time.

Wow, that is bad. I hated Chris too, but the thought of wanting him dead in the show never crossed my mind. Of course, if I had watched every episode of his pathetic performance, I'd probably be thinking that too.

I never thought you'd stoop that low. Personally though, she wasn't as bad as Amy, but still very irritating. And I know I'm not the only one who has this question, why does she have a tail?!?

I really have no idea. It too baffled me.

One idea I had that is very off the wall and very sick I should add was the fact her Dad actually slept with a Mobian cat, thus having a human child with cat ears and a tail. *shudders* Man, just writing that sent chills up my spine. Of course, that explanation is the least likely, but at the time that was the only that sadly made sense.

But realistically, the reason why for I do believe Sara has these bizarre accessories after doing some research about it is the fact its a common fad in Japanese anime, known as cat girls. I actually find this really stupid since there's no point to it. It doesn't make the anime girls any more attractive or interesting.

Thats for sure. Was everybody a furry in the 90s or something? Were these 'cat girls' so fascinating they had to be everywhere? Its like besides SatAM, SEGA could never make a decent female character. Amy, Blaze, Sara, Marine....the list goes on and on and they're all terrible.

While I did find a few of the Sonic gals from the other 3 Sonic shows were decent, most of them were not.
