@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Umn.... HAI U GAYZ! *Big nervous impish grin*

I've been gone for soooo long! I don't even remember when I was last active here. And I'm sorry I just disappeared suddenly like that.

So, here's a little recap of what's happened in my life.

I started a Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic) course in August of last year. Before that I had been going through so mayor art block too so once I started studying the lack of time only made it worst. Another thing was my friend(The one I've asked donations for) whose health has had some nasty downs (thankfully had some ups right after too) and so took my general emotional state along with them.

Well, so far, my course has been going great. I'm a top student. Not to sound nerdy, but for me it means a lot because I was afraid it would be too much for me and worried about failing as I did in college due to depression. But I AM learning and I DO like it very much. My professor is an awesome guy and a blast to be around.

My friend's health continues to go up and down, but he's still in a level where he cannot do much of the things he could do before. We haven't even been able to take him out for over a month now. He used to go to the mall with us in a wheelchair. Now he has to spend more time in bed. I visit him often and bring him anything he needs from cash to groceries and a gift every so often of something he wanted. I'm also happy to say that I've gotten a few people to donate to his account and 2 are repeating donors. Little angels I found.

I had been lurking here every so often, mostly checking on the new Sea3on comic, which by the way is looking awesome, but that's about it. The only place I've kept a bit more active is DeviantArt where I write a journal about stuff whenever something I feel the need to share happens and post anything I might have done, but been real slow with art. Decent art anyway.

I owe drawings to a handful of people. The ones who donated I promised a request in exchange and haven't done any of them, but I do have the list and intend to do it....someday, but will do it. It was frustrating at first because i was trying to force myself to make them but then the art just came out terrible and I ended up feeling bad about my skills deteriorating.
So I decided to just take that break and let the muse come back when it felt like. Just keeping myself busy and entertained and draw when I felt like and what I felt like.

Right now I'm still working on it. Just posted something I did yesterday in the Creative Corner section and that one came in between breaks of working on a class project and studying for a test tomorrow.

So, will try to be around here more often again and hopefully provide more art. :]

Good to hear you're getting back on your feet Mara. And no need to apologize or anything for taking a break (from art or forums) everyone needs to once in a while. Especially with all of the emotions you've been going through. Also glad to hear you've been doing well with your paramedic training. smile.gif

I'd see ya on deviantart but I hate the way that site is run x3. Also I'm not an artist.

WHA?! - Mara's back?! *Hastily uses a nearby tarp to cover a mound of empty Robo-Cola cansiters*

Er, uh, welcome back, Sub-Overlord unit.... *Hastily looks up status heirarchy* Alpha-three-nine-nine-two.

Studies in genocide and war implications on the Mobian people and the cross-references in recorded modern data records have been going slower than expected.... Er, I've been... Distracted. *Uses her foot to slide a nearby bible under a pile of documentation papers*

Heh, in all honesty, it's good to see you return. Surely many here have missed your presence and humor.

I know you. But you're name reminds me of Mum-rah on Thundercats. So when I see your name I think of that so that's why it might seem like I ignore you.

Also, the ban stick has been retired so there's bigger fish to fry and all.
