@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

It appears as if it plays more like Sonic Rush with regards to the physics. I dunno...

It looks so awesome! X3
I got goosebumps from the nostalgia rush I got. I can't wait for it to come out!

...and find a way to play it since I don't have any of the Next Gen consoles unless I manage to get me one by then~
So far I love EVERYTHING I've seen, but I've always been a pretty flexible fan for the games. I still love 2006. D:

This isn't new info about the game, but it is related to sonic 4 and very humerous, I've known about this for a while but it doesn't seem anyone here has noticed, so I have to inform you all that our old "wonderful friend" sonmanic came back (goes by AKnotholeresident on youtube) with more manchild fail & created the latest big famous bitchfit on youtube a couple of weeks ago, and has ended up spawning countless parodies on him by hundreds of youtubers, all over sonic 4 because of sonic's slighty different design.

Now I know some people on this thread have complained about Sega using sonic's new design, but you havn't seen sonmanic complain about it. Those of you who know what sonmanic's like probably know how he's going to react, but really, I didn't expect him to go this far.

Here's the video responses to sonmanic from one of my subscriptions, he constantly goes back and forth between footage of him and sonmanic, very entertaining to watch xD.

Part 1 Go to 1:15 to get to the sonic 4/sonmanic commentary.

Man, alot of people are complaining that "it's not like the original Sonic." or "We want the classic Sonic, not this piece of sh!t modern Sonic!" you know what I have to say: STFU, and deal with the fact the we're finally getting something that we've wanted for about 16 years now, learn to get over the fact that SEGA has changed Sonic's design, and that they are going to keep it that way until they change it agin, which probably will never happen.

I thought it's been said that Sonic CD takes place before sonic 2?

I could be wrong. That makes sense too since Tails is nowhere to be found. Either way, the basic timeline runs that after the events of Sonic 3, everyone kinda goes their seperate ways till Sonic Adventure. Sonic 3D Blast and the like are either exceptions, or the split occurrs after them. One way or another, everyone splits before Sonic Adventure for at least a few years.

Why do you guys care about Sonmanic again? Has he ever done anything that requires attention that's not a swift banhammer/ignore or am I missing something in human nature again?

Well it seems that Sonmanic has found holy ground on Nicochi's page. Nico recently told him that:

QUOTE
By the way, you are hands down one of the most intelligent and best Sonic fans on the internet, so don't let the haters get you down. You must know better than anyone that in a land of fools, it is the wise man who is ridiculed. Just take pride in knowing that if there were more like you, the Sonic world would be a much, much better place.

Then again, the post made by Sonmanic that Nico was replying to actually wasn't about Sonic 4 or Sonic's look, but rather about how he feels what would have happened if Sega had stuck with the SatAM canon:

QUOTE
My theory if Sonic kept his Westernized style and storyline. If Sega started to make SatAM/Archie based games right after Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the franchise would've increased its fan base, attracting an influx of fans of all ages who are into Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Steampunk/Cyberpunk genres. They would build off the classic trilogy and gradually make it more epic and compelling. Sonic Mars, Sonic X-treme would've made the Saturn a worthy contender to Mario64 and Crash Bandicoot. Ben Hurst would've been able to continue the 3rd Season of SatAM as promised in 1998; preventing Sonic Underground from ever being conceived. Then in 2002, Ben Hurst's Sonic Movie would've been approved and probably would've seen 3 successful sequels by now while Cartoon Network airs reruns of SatAM and its newer seasons. The Archie Comics would've stayed faithful to the SatAM roots without adapting the crazy convoluted game adaptations from Sonic Adventure cause the modern games would've remained consistent to the Westernized story lines. With the on going success of the SatAM based 3D Sonic titles and other Sega games, the Dreamcast managed to last till 2006 until Sega announced their next Gen console to compete against Wii, PS3, and Xbox.

Since Sega was still in the console wars, they didn't find it necessary to develop games for third party companies. Thus, the notion of Mario & Sonic crossover games were only just a comedic fantasy while the idea of porting a Sonic game to a Nintendo system was an insult to Sega's image. There would be more peace in the online community as there was only ONE canon to follow instead of many. Meanwhile, outlet stores like Hot Topic would be selling retro merchandise BUT they would be based off of SatAM, Archie, or Ben Hurt's Movie adaptations. In a perfect world, the Sonic franchise wouldn't limit its audience to just 12 year olds, but expand to wider demographics and placed on the same pedestal as Star Wars, Star Trek, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and Mass Effect while being in the respective line of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Mega Man

But in any case, due to Nico's nature there's no point in going to his page to talk negatively about him or Sonmanic because you'll just end up getting blocked and insulted (As you can tell from Speedy's attempt).
