@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Yu-gi-oh games were terrible.. there were like 1 or 2 that were good
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Which 3 games are they? (Chances are pretty good that I have them too.)

Oh! My mistake. I was given four. I have Yu-gi-oh: The Sacred Cards, Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel, World Championship Tournament 2004, and Ultimate Masters: World Championshiop 2006.

I'm starting with Sacred Cards, nd I think I'm actually getting into the swing of things.

They still beat buying loads of the cards and then trying to find someone to play it with.

Because Yugioh is already death. The new game style is: won before turn 3, or you lose. I have a deck that I can win in turn 1 playing cards non-stop and throwing all your deck before you can start playing. Special summons becomes a joke...you can special summon everything. Years ago have a special summon was a miracle...the card called "cyber dragon" was extremely hard to get and expensive"...now is a joke. Every time is like: "Hey, I can start playing?" -No, I special summon this, draw 2 cards, syncro, draw another card, destroy the syncro summon 3 mini-creatures, destroy one of my monster draw 2 cards again and make the game very boring. I'm saying because I started playing Yu-gi-oh since the first deck come to my city. I think I played yugioh more than 8 years.

Trust me, I'm not kidding xD. Also open spoiler if you wanna see some SEGA catbridges xD.

Spoiler

Magic the gathering have a lot of diferents combos that don't ruin the gameplay like Yugioh.

About yugioh games...The only ones that worth are the world championship [insert year here] and the TAG games on PSP.

The one for PSone was good. I sold my YGO cards and got like 100 bucks. I play MtG every once in a while

Just got Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask...and finished it within a week with all 135 story puzzles completed. Can you tell I'm a puzzle fanatic? Anyways, back to Pokémon Black/White 2...

After dinking around...er, leveling my Pokémon to my content with the help of the nice farmer's wife who also stole Nurse Joy's Aura of Smooth since she could heal my Pokémon (yes...they're doing THAT thing again), I head past the Hiker who turned my first badge into a Metroidvania McGuffin and moved on.

My first encounter was with a Preschool trainer and again I must object to having preschoolers as trainers. Mostly because I'm still expecting to see the remains of a Vanillite colony that was eaten by them thinking they were sweeties. Although, to be honest, I suspect they only LOOK like ice cream cones and so when they take a bite they end up getting a mouthful of grey matter, blood, and other part. Most likely scarring their little minds for life and thus amusing me immensely.

Anyways...

After that, Cheren and Hugh appeared wherein Cheren told me about the dark grass and then gave both me and Hugh Pecha Berries to prepare for the next Gym. *sarcasm* Gee...I WONDER what sort of Gym requires me to have an item that cures POISON? *end sarcasm* After that, I decide to check out the dark grass and end up nearly getting my goolies bitten off by a Pokémon I haven't seen yet...at least not in this game. After capturing the posionous centipede that will evolve into something awesome, I engage in two more trainer battles and meet my first Double Battle against two twins who both have Sunkern. A pathetic Double Battle to be sure, especially since in the Black version I used Lugia and Ho-Oh to totally troll them.

Finally making it into the city proper after getting some Great Balls (STOP LAUGHING) from the clerk in the tunnel, I am witness to a strange scene between Gym Leader Roxie and her father. Apparently, her father is a ship captain who wants to be a movie star as well as a captain since Roxie was both a Gym Leader and a rock star. Before that, though, Mum called and told me to check out the Complex to the south at night since it's beautifly lit up. Personally, I think that captain father is also pretty lit up, and not in a good way either.

Ah well, after a rest at the Center, I'll see what that Complex is all about and maybe get in some extra training if need be.

Alot of players have been dropping Yu-Gi-Oh! this past year for various reasons :cough:inzektors:cough:. Alot of players I find ether switch to magic or Cardfight Vanguard. I wish more people would get into Vanguard, a good start would be for them to localize the upcoming 3DS game that coming out next year.

My local card shop plays both yugioh and vanguard, in fact players at this store are really good at both. Just recently a guy I know that works there named Brandon Smith took nationals and is now going with 3 others to the world championship in japan.

https://www.facebook...363826427040389

I played in the chicago regionals and made top 19. I'm still debating what to run for next year:

-Kagero- Dragonic Overlord the end build
-Shadow Paladins- Phantom Blaster Overlord build
-Dimension Police- Great Daiyusha build(Just to say GREAT DAIYUSHA!!!!!!)

The "World Championship" ones use the TCG rules; the others play a little looser and some have that rather annoying "deck capacity" system. I think Sacred Cards was one that uses said annoying system. WC 2005 (7 Trials to Glory) was one of my favorite GBA games. (It pre-dated things like Syncro and Gemini monsters.)

They still beat buying loads of the cards and then trying to find someone to play it with.

*nods* True. Also less expensive than buying a buttload of cards ;)

The one for PSone was good.

o.O;
I hope you're not talking about Forbidden Memories there; that's one of the first (and worst, IMHO) Yu-Gi-Oh videogames ever made.

Ugh...yeah. I hate that deck capacity point system. I basically forces me to duel the same characters over and over, just so that I can be allowed to build a better deck...with the cards I already have.

But I'm still having a pretty good time. And Konami's marketing is beginning to work, sadly. There are some cards I'd actually like to own, in real life. xD

Pokemon TCG videogame was pretty good. I still play it. The problem with the real card game is that the old cards are crap now. Instead make another way to win, they created more powerfull card than the olders, making the older sux...really hard...but the GB game is pretty good.
