@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

White Knight Chronicle 1 got remade in the 2nd game. They sorta fixed the bugs in that one.

Uh...please elaborate on that "sorta". Did they fix the old bugs, but introduce new ones in the process or what?

Well I haven't played it White Knight Chronicles when it was first released, Only the remake in the Second one. Basically they attempted to make combat and multiplayer better but didn't really do anything else.

Oh.

...

Would that "remake" be called the "International Edition" by any chance?
(That's what I'm playing)
There's also a sequel, BTW (White Knight Chronicles II)

I think that might be it.
The Game White Knight Chronicles II comes with one already on it.

Interesting Trivia. The first map is surprisingly similar to another Level-5 game's first map. Dragon Quest 8

*nods* I was wondering if the version that came with WKC2 was the "International Version" of WKC1 or if they did a remake of the remake xD

BTW, the local GameStop has WKC2 in stock (new) for $19.99 but I may not bother getting it cuz I've developed a love/hate relationship with the combat system.
Trying to change targets can be a pain sometimes...like when you have 1 big enemy and 4 little ones on the screen at the same time :grrr:

Heh. I didn't even notice that and I loved DQ8. Now I wanna go hunting Gold Golems again. :medieval:

Ah Dragon Quest 8....
[Plays first level]
DANG IT!

I hate that first level. It's just too slow to hold my interest. The game really doesn't take off till you get Jessica (well...the giant Octopus Fight). Before that everything seems to slow and easy.

My current Rating on Assassin's Creed is the game is good...but the sidequest are kinds.....repetitive. Find Flags, Use Look Outs, and Rescue civilians.

Just finished GTA: Vice City, and before that I was playing GTA3. GTA3 sucks. Vice City is much better.

One thing about these games is, y'know how these games often get blamed for violence? I can see where it comes from, I think. It's weird, I've played FPSes for a decade now and I've never felt the urge to pick up a gun and start shooting people any more than the average non-gamer. But since I've been playing GTA, when I look at cars in real life, I notice their simliarities to cars in the game and I imagine what properties they'd have if I jacked them. And, worse, jacking them sounds like fun. Now, I'm not stupid or crazy enough to actually try it, but I can see how it could push somebody with less of a grip on the difference between fantasy and reality over the edge.

This is one reason I'm gonna be taking a break before moving on to San Andreas and GTA4. I don't want the idea of carjacking to become too appealing. :P

In other news!

Today I started on Sonic 4 episode 1. Garbage. Bad physics, bad graphics, bad music. Absolutely no reason to play it over Sonic 1-3 or Sonic CD (especially with the new Sonic CD port). I played it for 15 minutes and decided to try Sonic Generations instead, which is much better and everything Sonic 4 ep 1 should have been. In fact, I think the level design is actually better than it was in the Genesis games. I recall the Genesis games requiring you to slow down a lot, and I don't feel that happening too often in this game. It's also my first taste of what I presume is Sonic Adventure-style gameplay (I've yet to play Sonic Adventure, though I have it). My first impression of it was... it's crazy fast!! But I think I'm used to it now... clearly, this is a game designed by people who know what Sonic is all about.

Been playing over Poke'mon Soul Silver since I never finished it. Replaced the batterey in my Poke'walker as well since i'm trying to do more walking outside of work. Surprisingly enough, the thing held data from two years ago despite having a dead battery for god knows how long and then no batterey for a whole day. I must say i'm legitimately impressed by nintendo's ability to come up with interesting diversionary tech that surprises at every turn. I really thought the Sentret I left in that thing was long gone.

Got Darksiders II coming in the mail. I loved the first one, especially the story, so I'm really excited about the sequel.

After finished all the achievements of Sonic CD today (xbox360) I wanted more Sonic. I played the demo of Sonic Unleashed (never played it)...The demo was...pretty good, more than I expected (was the stage Windmill isle) also I found one guy who will sell me for 9$...so I will play soon Unleashed...although I don't like the "werehog", music is awesome "Endless posibility", "Rooftop Run" and I liked too "Windmill" (never heard it before) and The Sonic Show influenced me, was very funny the gameplay.

I'm the one who jumped from SA2 to Sonic generations...but I'm discovering that those game I jumped are cool, not as olders, but are cool too.

Just played The Room Tribute fan game.

For anyone who's seen the movie, it's pretty funny.
