@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

...the more I play Dragon Age Awakening, the less pleased I am... unsure.gif

Certainly not as good as Origins. It has its funny parts but even the returning characters are a little more flat than in Origins.

Well, Awakening IS an expansion to Origins, right? Even I wouldn't expect it to be that awesome, heck, even the Overlord DLC for Mass Effect 2 felt slapped together. I guess its a Bioware thing. dry.gif

Hehe yeah, Awakening is an expansion pack. The funny thing about Bioware is they offer awesome character interactions and stories, although the missions get repetitive and boring the more times you replay the game. Neverwinter Nights is the very same. The story is impressive, the character interactions are amazing, sadly, the actual adventuring and regions themselves get boring as time goes on. And repetitive, like I said. The later chapters of NWN are great, but the earlier chapters are painful. Especially chapter one. O_o

The toolset is fun to tinker with though, if you know what you're doing. It was that that got me interested in making games. I didn't create my own models for armor or such but ones I found I learned how to compile them together into a single hak file and created whatever armor, weapons, or scenery, or even characters that I wanted. With what I'd refer to as "god armor" and "god weapons". I was untouchable! I did try briefly to create my own stuff using Bryce, Maya, gmax, and 3Ds Max, but I never went very far into making my own stuff. I found it took firstly too much time to make one thing and even MORE time to actually learn how to use the programs. I'm no modeler or programmer, hence why I stay far away from the stuff. I know some coding but I cannot make a game based on my knowledge (which is also why I do not deal with the coding for FUS or the board).

Have not gotten into NWN2 yet though, but that was not made by Bioware, but instead Obsidian.

I'm on the same boat as you Morgan, I've tried modeling and level designing with Blender, 3DS Max, and a few others but I couldn't come up with anything decent. I've never played Either of the Neverwinter Nights but I'm looking forward to the Old Republic and Dragon Age ll. The demo for DA ll just went live on Steam btw, maybe its at the PSN and XBLA Marketplace too. happy.gif

Oh cool. smile.gif I've got DA II on full reserve. All I gotta do is pick it up on March 8. smile.gif I did have some modules I made in NWN, using a lot of the characters from the official campaign and the expansion pack Hordes of the Underdark. Wrote up a lot of the story and was setting it all into motion but I never completed the module. Plus something I think was glitching with the master hak file and I haven't had the time to figure it out. Plus I don't even have NWN on my computer anymore. Haven't in maybe two or three years.

What's painful is that I have 5 master haks that all became corrupt when my computer was lost to a virus. I had to redo them, but eventually I settled down on one master hak. Makes life happier!

Yeah, viruses are nasty. It probably was a better idea to compile them all into one file. Once I made a ton of mods to the Mass Effect 2 ini file. I tweaked EVERYTHING, weapon damage and fire speed, infinite materials, different squad loadouts.....even space travel speed xD.png But when I had to delete Mass Effect 2 to make room for Dead Space 2, I accidentally forgot to backup my ini file when it was deleted. I was so focused on backing up the DLC inis I completely forgot the main one. I'm so angry at myself I don't even watch to play the game again. lipsrsealed.gif

I would have liked to have compiled everything into one, except NWN's hak compiling program doesn't like having more than 20,000 files in each hak, and there was well over that in each one. xD.png I had to pretty much get rid of what I didn't want and have it all down into one. I think I'd kept around 5,000 files at most.

O_O 20,000 files? And I thought I made a lot of mods.....xD.png Well, I've been playing Team Fortress 2 a lot. Valve is one of my favorite game developers of all time, I've played each and every Half Life game for AT LEAST 25 hours each. Since they're taking years to develop Episode 3, I figured I might as well try a game they're constantly updating. Its a real blast, the variety of classes and weapons never gets old and there are tons of stages too. happy.gif

Well these haks were made by someone else, free for anyone to use. I downloaded a lot and compiled them all into each of those files. It sure as hell bogged down the modules when you tried loading them though. But finally I nixed that one and found a bunch of stuff I actually wanted and put them all into one hak. smile.gif Still never found a knee length pleated skirt to use though. That was part the purpose of gmax. But I never got around to actually making it.

Got MvC3 as well. Arthur definitely wins the "WTF" award for most unique addition to the lineup seeing as how he was originally just a special attack in the original MvC. But Dante and Deadpool definitely rule all.

Love Deadpool too on that. The fearsome "Hyper combo gauge" move made me roll on the floor laughing. Though Galactus telling me that he will "squash me like the bug that I am" is strange seeing as he says that AFTER you beat him.

I just picked up Deus Ex 2 on the X box for £1.99 so going to get started on that.

Played a little of Donkey Kong Country Returns last night! Very interesting seeing as I played DKC1 a lot years ago. Was nice seeing some familiar scenery and hearing music I still remember! And to play it on the Wii was very fun. I don't play with my Wii much. smile.gif

I've enjoyed all the DLC for Borderlands except for the Moxi Underdome one. It just wasn't my bag. It's basically a horde mode type of thing, but it comes with a bank feature that lets you store gear that is actually pretty nice.

Okami. I got it originally for the PS2 (which is better) but I'm now playing it on the Wii.
I'm not crazy about the wiimote celestial brush thing. I wish you at least had the OPTION of using the classic Wii controller.

I think they need that option with many Wii games.
