@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Oh, no, as far as I can recall, all Wiis are backwards compatible.

They bloody well should be considering the Wii is just a Gamecube with nunchucks.

I finished Batman arkham asylum a few weeks ago... freaking incredible. Lately I've been playing some spider man 3 on the 360. Interestingly, it's actually not that bad. It's just spiderman 2 with better visuals, a black suit, and some of the most annoying quick time events I have seen... its go its share of problems, but it really isn't as bad as I've heard... though, the ps2 version was a watered down port.

The new trailer for Arkham City looks incredible, Hugo Strange sounds a bit like Christopher Lee.

I had a coupon to rent it for free on the ps2 back in 2007.

... I still feel like I got ripped off.

And yes, the arkham city trailers were great! Bring on the Strange!

Put a full reserve down on Dead Space 2. Haven't played much of the first one yet as I haven't been able to time wise, but I really like the first one of the little bit I have played. So gonna pick the second one next week. smile.gif Also finished downloading all of Siren: Blood Curse! May also pick up Dragon Age Awakening also but not just yet.

My friend is away in the navy, so I "borrowed" his PS3 to play Dead Space again. Back on the 360 i just got a RPG called Resonance Of Fate and started playing Infinite Undiscovery too.
My brother still has his NES and we had a session on Double Dragon 2, freakin AWESOME!!!

I'm having a great time on Dead Space 2 for 360.

It's like they took everything from Dead Space 1 ramped it up to 11, took out the inbetween chapter loading times, juiced up the graphics and mayhem, and tweaked the few issues in gameplay from the first. It is beautiful in how grotesque it is and there are plenty of surprises along the way.

Lots of new enemies to go with the old ones. Most of them are pretty gruesome and disturbing in comparison with the others. They totally outdid the creepyand disturbing baby wall crawling necromorphs from the first game. You have a bunch of new weapons as well along with the old weapons. New suits that give other bonuses as well than just more armmor and inventory slots.

Enviroments are all different unlike how the Ishumura was similar throughout the ship.

I frequently find myself chanting "oh crap oh crap oh crap" as I try to run away or gun down a fast moving necromorph that's sprinting (yes sprinting) toward me.

Its a western third person cover shooter. A VERY movie-like experience. It really feels like you're playing movies like 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. The environments are vast and large and characters are well-detailed and varied. Rockstar nailed what the early 1900s were like, showing all the brutal gunfights, the conditions people lived in, and the prostitution. Red Dead is definitely not a game for kids. Still, the voice acting is top notch, and gameplay is fast and fun, and the 18+ hour story mode will leave you breathless. Definitely a must buy for any western movie fan, or a fan of Rockstar games in general. Check out IGN's review for more in-depth details.

I have to add that the Undead Nightmare add-on is worth it too, its an extra 8 hour+ chapter to go through. And zombies that can only be killed by headshots adds a good challenge.
