That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Alright, few quick things here!

1 - I would like to start off with our Christmas Avatar Contest Spectacular!

What do you do? Well.. Easy, just make your avatars festive for the season. Can be funny, can be stupid, can be as simple as Vlad's just putting a santa hat on the mutant dog thing. Just something simple to put the forum into a festive mood!

Prize? Well, you get to be knowin as the Xmas Avatar Champ. Bragging rights to everyone here. But this is mostly just for fun, put FUS into a festive mood!
The mods and admins will vote on the 26th, and name who this kick ass person is then.


2 - Some more changes to the forum. If you go into the gallery section you will notice "Screenshots". We are curently getting ready to transfer all the screenshots off of the mainpage and into the gallery. It will then just be linked into the forum gallery. This is my way to put some use to our gallery, and get rid of clutter. As well as my attempts to make the board the central part of the site.

This also goes for the fanart section.. All the art will be transfered into the gallery, and then that section will also be deleted off the main site.



Next... The Fanfic section. That will also be deleted soon, although I will let you know a week or two in advance, just incase any of you need to get anything from it. That section is messed up code wise, and won't intergrate well to the current site. 1 thing we are going to try and do is make the gallery except text files. If it wont, I'll have to think of something else. Weather thats converting a section of the forum, or re making a fic section.

Hrmm... maybe I have been gone to long but wasn't there a xmas themed fanfiction contest? Or did that get canned? I feel dumb if it did because I started working on one. unsure.gif
