I was actually directing the query at Korben, since he asked the question "Who else thinks she's hot for a wolf chick from another planet?" This implies that wolf chicks from other planets are generally not hot. It is common knowledge that Korben generally thinks anything female is hot, so this is creating a major disturbance in the Force that could cause a catastophic destabilisation of time-space.

Oy, that's my life philosophy! Go get your own!
And yes, Korben's implication that wolf chicks from other planets are not hot does indeed cause a paradoxical transcendental concept that may infect the space-time continuum with an unsupportable viral concept.
Ergo, Earth wolves are also damn cute.

Yeah, isn't this kinda backwards? Most threads on the innernets start on some deep and relevant topic and then drift towards sex, not the other way around.

However, given that I'm a fan of Blaze the Cat in SegaSonic, I'm kind of happy that SatAM has its own "spiritual warrior woman" character.

Bu-dum-tsssshhh! (Or, alternatively, dada-da-da-da-da!/"Bada-Bing!")
Wolves are pretty majestic as animals go. Though I don't get the usual obsession with either them or Foxes in Anthro art and such. I suppose it's the desire for that majesty and sheer power that makes people want to identify with them.

As to the wolf/human connection:
The connection that some people have to wolves typically stems from the fact that they're actually more like us than many people would care to admit. There are more similarities between wolf and human societies (including corporate structure) than most any other animals. There's a saying that when one looks into the eyes of a wolf, they can see a kindred spirit looking back at them. And in some cultures, the wolf is sacred. In some Native American tribes, killing a wolf was an equal offense to murdering a fellow tribe member.
Also, dogs are simply mutant wolves that humans have taken into their homes and often are made part of the family. So, "man's best friend" is actually a wolf. The bond between "dog" and man came into being while our ancestors were living in caves and had yet to actually invent anything. It's possible that early man actually learned things like teamwork and societal structure from the wolf...
So, is it really that difficult to understand why some of us still feel a connection to wolves?
And the foxes are typically folks who aren't strong enough to be wolves. Plus, all those vixens out there (note that the word "vixen" is also applied to an attractive female human)... Plus, many people see real foxes as a cute critter. And they've got a similar roll to Coyote in many cultures as a trickster/hero. So, they tend to be the more predominant "attractive" or "charming" type characters. Never mind that IRL, you're more likely to be attacked by a fox than a wolf... It's all about the common perceptions...

Meh, I think Bunnie was a pretty positive portrayal of southerners. And calling her a "redneck" just because she has an accent proves my point. Bunnie doesn't go out in a pickup truck and make circles in the mud, or drink and cuss- all while bible thumping (the parts they want to thump) incessantly. And I never saw a confederate or "rebel" flag (as almost every proud redneck I've ever known calls it) in her hut. Or a thousand other typical "redneck" activities/traits.
One of the oddest attempts to make her "redneckified" in other media actually came in the lead-up to Mecha Madness.
In which she makes a reference to the Battle of Chickamauga, which is ironic because if you asked the average redneck about said battle they wouldn't know what the fuck you were talking about.
