@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

SONIC UNIVERSE #13
"Journey into the East Part One: Endless Reach of Fate": After a fierce battle with the Spider Ninjas, Sonic rescues Sally, Tails and Monkey Khan from the Gossamer Clan Cave in which they've been imprisoned. Things get introspective as Sally blames herself for the recent turn of events, but when they all meet the Bride of the Endless Reach, our heroes realize they are in the middle of a much bigger picture than they thought! Ties into this month's SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #210
SCRIPT: Ian Flynn
ART: Tracy Yardley.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #210
"Home Invasion Part One": In the aftermath of the "Iron Dominion" saga, things are bleaker than ever for our heroes, as one after another is "legionized." Amy, Geoffrey St. John, Rotor and the others do their best to be brave in the face of impending doom. But Eggman, the Iron Queen and Snively aren't exactly seeing eye to eye, which may provide hope for our heroes. Not to mention the intrepid team of first-rank heroes waiting for the proper moment to swoop in like the cavalry! Ties into this month's Sonic Universe #13.
SCRIPT: Ian Flynn
ART: Steven Butler.

Geoffrey St John! xD He hasn't been around in forever. Hey, maybe Sniv will leave that bitch of a Queen and hook up with him. No? sad.gif

I'm kind of looking forward to this one because it sounded (from last issue) that there may be much Snivage. I hope.
I somewhat like Sniv X Iron Queen (I guess just because it's nice to have Sniv X anyone. I would actually prefer him and Lien-Da. She has a whip!) but from what I've seen, I'm guessing she's using him for her own agenda. I personally wouldn't write Sniv so naive as to just totally fall in love with someone and have no suspicions whatsoever...but eh.
Nicole's picture there isn't exactly subtle foreshadowing. xD

Is Nicole the Cleopatra-ish like person with Snively having too much of a sword nose?

No, that's the Iron Queen. Nicole (Sally's computer given a holographic body, BTW. Don't ask me why that was necessary. xD) is the big-eared lynx chick.

Tracy Yardly! 's annoying style that they kept after his departure. It takes all chance of a serious feel to the stories out.

*sits transfixed by Amy's mouth, and not in a lezzy way either*

My god.

The OP art is fabulous, though.

I haven't read any of these for ages; is Nicole really as sour as she looks there?

EDIT: so Antoine really did grow a pair, finally? He looks like a right hard bastard, especially in the first picture he appears in. Don't let's get on the wrong end of him...

Actually, given her unusual dress style (far more in keeping with the Chinese aesthetic of the Iron Dominion) and the Iron Queen's known ability to control technology, I suspect Nicole's sour demeanor is a foreboding sign of trouble to come...

Right, and given that she's in brown tones like the villains. DUN DUN DUN! or something...
My guess is Snivvy is going to do something to enable Queenie to get Nicole under her control. Then Sniv can finally get him some of those seXy buns of steel...er...iron. xD

I like how Sonic was colored or #210, but it seems off because the coloring style's so inconsistant.

Don't care to much or the 'story', or whatever's let of it these days. Feels like yet another manfight issue to me. Seriously, whats it going to take for Pillerito to come in, and knock some sense into Ian by telling him give Regina and the Iron Dominion a break? She's been around how many consecutive issues? I never really liked her concept, but damn! She's becoming about as bad if not worse a God Mod/Mary-sue/Scene Stealer/trite character/Whatever else than Mogul, and thats HARD to top! Ian seriouisly needs give this character a rest already. People don't pick up the book reading every single issue, let alone for over a year's worth of comics to see Sonic fighting some some queen from a foreign country. I mean, this concept should be basic, simple logic for even a fan!

Is he actively TRYING to kill this book now?

I like Yardley's character designs for Antoine and Rotor, and his art is very slick and professional, but on the other hand it feels a little repetitive sometimes, in terms of facial expressions and such. I'd rather have him than Ron Lim or Dave Manak though, that's for sure.

It's nice to see they can interrupt the Sonic comic for Amy's crazy time.

I swear that every character Yardley's drawn has been given the exact same 'aghast' expression at some point. Ironic that something so over-the-top can become stupidly repetitive.
