@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Heh, not much of a trailer. But I must say, I'm very excited about this, very excited indeed.

Hmm, there are definitely some curious implications here. I am wondering how they will have re-conceptualized Mainframe, and other aspects of it. I see it as being quite promising.... I wonder how this will turn out.

Surely we will see. For something which holds a keen sentiment to many people, I wish the best for this production. Rainmaker/Mainframe Entertainment has had some excellent productions in the past, one of which I was sad to see discontinued: Shadow Raiders. That show also had excellent potential, great variability, and some interesting socio-cultural layers to it.

I just hope the changes of the character design aren't too drastic.I want as many of the original voice actors back as possible. And I hope we can get a godlike voice for Megabyte.

I wholeheartedly agree. Megabyte's voice was clearly a large portion of the essence of his character, and that aspect will continue to possess it's weight within this movie. We will have to wait and see what further details arise.

Tony Jay's been dead since 2006, really sad just thinking about it (me and him shared a birthday except he was 60 years before me)...

Tony Jay died?! How did I miss that?

...no wonder the end of the series got delayed so much. The guy's voice was the staple of many a cunning villain, Megabyte being one of my favorite roles.

As for Hex, it was only hinted at in the series that some things were different when she fragmented across the Net, so would she be in it, considering how final they made her sacrificial death seem? I'm not sure. MB's death seemed final when he got dragged into the web portal by web creatures, but that's apples and oranges.

The movie might not follow the series though, it might be an entirely different storyline where none of that happened. At least, I kind of hope so. I really want to see Hex! And Megabyte too. Maybe Tim Curry could do his voice, though I don't know if he can do the same menacing quality as Tony Jay. Or Jim Cummings could do his Robotnik-esque voice....

Neat, it'll be interesting to see the characters with more sophisticated computer animation, and how they'll reference the more current wave of technology, considering the original show was very much a product of its time.
I never did follow the whole series.. I missed out on the whole grown-up Enzo part. I did really like the earlier episodes though.

I wasn't much of a fan of the show, either... The Road Warrior spoof was fun, though.

Saw a few episodes of it. But Reboot came on at the same time I liked something else and/or it moved stations so I didn't see all of it.

Brutally honest scenario - I don't want to be tempted to buy lobby theatre candy. Not because it's expensive but we all know it's bad and distracts you from watching the movie.
