@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

I have some stuff in mind about Sea3son.

What's the nature of Snivley and Nagus's deal?
What's the deal with Sally's attitude?
Is Nagus planning to betray Snivley? And if so, what's gonna happen to our favorite little lackey?

Emo Sally remains emo. At least she's got a good excuse.

I wonder how the others are taking it.

Well then... I was expecting this page to include at least some words dedicated to where Sally's father is... nevermind.

It'd be difficult for SatAM to be SatAM without Sally's father MIA. At least, if something does happen to change his status, it's gotta happen with a little more fanfare than something happening off-screen.

Sea3on has some freedom in the fact that we never really got a glimpse into Naugus and the King's relationship when we saw them together in the series. The King could have been anywhere from Naugus's slave to an equal to just plain ignored when they were in the Void. The King could still be in the Void, same as before, for all we and Sally know.

I was shocked - SHOCKED! - when I saw the first couple panels of the current page, because the scene seemed very familiar to me . . . but despite just how awesome that would be, I'm sure it's either coincidence or the deranged imaginings of my own oversized ego.
Cheers!

You'd have to ask salamander, I s'pose, but for my part, I hadn't seen that pic when I wrote the scene. ^^; Still, it IS very nice. smile.gif

I forgot to say something earlier icon_sorry.gif

This chapter has been very well done, and fits perfectly into the pacing/style established by the show. The most recent page works as a nice coda. Reminds me of 'The Void.'

Is this the end of the chapter or are we going to have another scene elsewhere?

lol, just a coincidence I'm afraid. Hadn't seen that pic before, but they are pretty similar. Great minds think alike I guess.

next week is the last page of issue #1, and then on to a short story before the next chapter. I've got a little something extra in addition to the last page, but you'll have to wait til next week to see what it is. icon_e_wink.gif

Many thanks for the kind words! If it had been an homage, that woulda been super sweet since the S3 page is way better than my old clunker pic. But yah, I figured it pretty much had to be a coincidence. Still, because the image and the underlying idea (thinking for just a little while that the bad guy had finally been beaten) were both so similar, I couldn't pass up mentioning it.
Cheers!

So far, this has been great. If this was how the show started out in Season 3, I would be very excited for the rest of the season.
I think that it would be a great idea if we did send Ben Hurst a copy of this stuff because I bet he would be interested to see such a great comic.
Keep it up, you guys are doing a great job so far.
