That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I only laugh at the English actors. Other than that, I've always loved this show. The English was pretty bad in some places, and a lot of people I know consider it the 'goofiest' one for that reason. It's really sad because its a great anime to watch.

I'm quite fond of the Dub Cast, myself, and to me people who deem "G-Gundam" goofy, or more accurately people who view its over-the-top nature as a weakness, miss the point. It IS goofy, it IS over-the-top, but that's what makes it WORK; it's Melodrama of the richest sort, all about heightened Emotions and Epic Clashes; you can scoff if you want, but it's sincere and lays it all out there, and that's why I love it.

Compared to the overly depressing story arcs in some of the other Gundams, G Gundam is a nice change of pace. Also the alternate cockpit and control scheme make these Gundams Unique.

Ok, well I tend to laugh at Melodramas for this reason. As you said: they are over the top, but they can also be so over the top that they are ridiculous. Even if it does work, I cannot help but laugh at it. It's in my nature to mock everything, even if I like an English cast. In this case, its not that I am not fond of the voices. It is some of the wording that makes me want to mock it at times.

I first started mocking film and anime aesthetics because of these three films: Blood Simple; All That Heaven Allows; and A Woman A Gun, and A Noodle Shop. To me, they are melodramas made to mock melodramas. I'm not trying to be offensive about it. I just like laughing at different parts that I find funny.
