In other words: A trespasser... We don't take kindly to trespassers 'round here...... Weegee has been summoned to yet another thread upon the InterWebs. Actually, let me rephrase that: someone has finally noticed Weegee spying upon another thread of the InterWebs.
*Plants quadbarrel shotgun in Weegee's face, pours 5 vials of blood on the gun, which begins to glow golden, and squeezes the triggers. Weegee explodes into a cloud of blood and is absorbed into a device, which stores it in approximately 13 vials.*

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) recently issued a statement, as well as a rather bizarre playable game parody on their website, condemning the Super Mario Bros. franchise for the use of a “Tanooki suit.”
The suit is inspired by Japanese raccoon dogs, or tanukis, who in Japanese folklore are often mischievous masters of disguise or shape shifting. In the Super Mario games, the tanooki suit allows Mario to briefly turn to stone for disguise and protective purposes, as well as float through the air. The suit was most recently featured in Super Mario 3D Land.
On their web site, PETA has posted the following statement: “When on a mission to rescue the princess, Mario has been known to use any means necessary to defeat his enemy — even wearing the skin of a raccoon dog to give him special powers. Tanooki may be just a ‘suit’ in Mario games, but in real life, tanuki are raccoon dogs who are skinned alive for their fur. By wearing Tanooki, Mario is sending the message that it’s OK to wear fur.”
Accompanying the statement is an 8-bit game parody called “Super Tanooki Skin 2d” featuring a skinned tanuki character chasing a flying Super Mario, who is wearing the tanuki’s skin.
