@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

I used to kind of think maybe there was a god and then just kind of got to a point where I didn't think one existed. But yeah. I'm not sour towards anyone who's Christian personally. Just those fanatics or "bible thumpers" as they're called.

Glad to hear your working hand avoided the trauma. That means you can still do this:

But we'll have to save this for later: :john: Hope your left hand heals soon!

Yeah, I'm in no way impressed with many of "my fellow Christians". We've even had a few seminary students (Bible college, basically) call a bunch of us on the film crew "liberal fags". The funny thing is that these Christians were mocking the Christian film that's now stiffing me the money in a very non-Christian way. I'm not quite sure how many levels of irony that is, but it all goes around to Christians biting other Christians in the butt. And now I actually have to go around living as a Christian should behave rather than the Christians around me have been behaving. I hate hypocrites.

That's not all I can do with my working hand.... ;)

I hate hypocrites too. Again, I'm like somewhere in agnostic and athiest. I don't disrespect anyone who is religious be it Christian, Catholic, Mormon, etc, whatever it is. But I have a big problem with someone as preaching something is wrong and against their religion or God and then turn around and do it themselves.

And you're falling into a trap. You're not mad at real Christians. You're made a hypocrites who pretend to be Christians...

That's more or less what I mean, Vlad. :) These people call themselves Christians but they really aren't.

I have no problems whatsoever with the Great Sky Bully shaking his incorporeal finger at me, just as long his followers don't come knocking on my door shaking their corporeal fingers as well.

Same here. I especially don't like people coming up to me telling me I'm going to go to hell just because I don't go to church or because I am not religious. Um...what? xD Silly silly people.

We all know Christians suck. Why else would we have heard about those priests who did naughty things to their choir boys? (Yes...I went there.)

Anyways...I was once Christian, but now I classify myself as Gnostic Christian. Which means I believe in God, but I don't take the Bible as "the word" anymore. Kinda hard to stand behind a book of rules when not even the group that follows it breaks those same rules from time to time. Hence my previous statement in regards to more recent anti-GLBT statements made by certain religious groups when it is QUITE clear they have no problem.

I think it's kinda silly to be a 'semi-Christan', (mainly because you're either in or out) but I do see what you mean. There are many believers who are young in faith that I've come across. There are many who give Christians a bad name, and it sucks, because others just classify all of Christianity by the few they observe, almost similar to how people look at certain races and people stereotypically. I make mistakes and errors that you wouldn't expect from a Christian too. That's why we grow in Spirit, learn from our mistakes, and be sure they don't happen again. Ironically, the problem why so many people backslide and reject the Bible is because they don't read it in the first place. I could go on and on about the verses within Proverbs and John that talk about false witnesses and those who question the Word. Sadly, Its mostly those who call themselves Christians, yet live by their own rules. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says it perfectly, really.

And about those perverted Priests, its obvious they trick the Church by coming off as holy man of wisdom, but they're no different than any other pedophile. It all comes down to faith and dedication. It's easy to call yourself a Christian, but it's simply a title if you don't act like one, and there are MANY who don't act like one.

And NO, Christians don't suck, what kind of remark is that? Of course there are those who are antagonistic like those mentioned previously, that's why you always come across a mixed bag of believers. There are obviously many who try to do people a favor, but then there are many who simply don't care. Isn't that like me saying Japan sucks because they bombed PH? Their army shouldn't set an example their entire nation, and neither should immature Christians overshadow those strong in faith.

Yeah I don't color an entire religion based upon a few idiots. Yes it's true Christianity has its fanatics, but take a look at others like Islam. Osama bin Laden is a prime example of another idiot. (Yeah watch me get a bunch of angry ragheads coming to blow my ass up). :P

But I never call said fanatic a Christian or Catholic or whatever. Cause how can you be religious if you go straight against the rules and values you claim to uphold? It's like touching little boys and claiming you're not a pedophile.

And yay! Having tuna sandwiches for lunch! Mmm tuna! Mmm pickles!! :D

It does! And it makes me think of Back to the Future.

Well, after Firefox was doing something screwy earlier (for instance, facebook kept redirecting to yahoo), I'm now using Chrome. That's not the first time Firefox did that to me and it wasn't just to one website, it was to different ones. Wikipedia redirected to some German livejournal looking place, Twitter redirected to some wiki, something redirected to MapQuest. It was madness! It had been doing that for a few months now at random times and then a few hours later actually take me to the bookmark's URL. Even FUS kept giving me odd errors. But now I am happy. :)

Indeed. I get to see my mom's hometown (which is roughly 14 hours ahead of our time zone) in just a few seconds. Korea looks really lovely, especially the old traditional housing. I'd really love to visit Korea one day. At least once in my life. Well, South Korea anyway. ;)
