Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Sounds interesting to me! I'll see if I can invest in it the next time I'm out. :)

Just watched The Expendables! That movie was totally awesome. But I would have loved to have seen Bruce Willis and Jason Statham in just one scene together at least! I think it'd be an interesting action sequence to see. :)

Hahaha I saw him and I was like "Hey! He was in White Chicks!" Then I heard him singing "A Thousand Miles" and tweeting a whistle and saw him dancing high and horny in a club. X|

Okay okay, the dance was fine and honestly the song made me laugh. xD I really love the casting choices though for this movie. It was filled with all sorts of win on just that alone. :)

Not to veer off topic, guys, but vlad, where the heck do your picture and signature come from?

My avatar and signature pictures are cropped screen caps from John Carpenter's "The Thing". I'm a rather avid Thing fan. Thus, the "Non-Intruder Organism" descriptor. :evo:

The avatar pic is the "Jed-Thing" (or "dog-thing" as some prefer [Jed is the name of the wolf-dog who played the non-Thing body of that character]) is from the "Dog Town" scene, and is actually an extremely detailed puppet that Stan Winston made for the movie. It's my favorite of the Things. I also have a couple of screen caps of it from the front, and a slightly modified one that shows up around Christmas time. I also have an animated one that shifts from Jed to Jed-Thing, but that works against my own slow internet speed and makes it take too long to load topics, so it's perty much retired.

The blue and white text is from Blair's studies of the Things. It's his computer's estimate of how long it would take them to assimilate all life on earth, if they were allowed to get off of Antarctica. I was going to try using it as an avatar picture, but the the resizing to that scale made it too hard to read the text, so I put it in the signature.

The personal photo picture: A cropped picture of a coyote with the sun reflecting in its eye. This used to be my primary avatar picture, and may eventually trade places with my current avatar. It does lose a bit with the resizing, but I think it still looks nifty.

Waiting for a train and sitting across from me are two young lady teenagers, both listening to iPods and both talking and gossiping to each other, as only young teenage girls can, as loudly as possible. I think I am about to slap the six shades shit of them both and throw their iPods on the train tracks.

Ugh, I hate when teens do that. Annoys the fucking hell out of me. Except I don't really just get an urge to slap them. ;)

I love the sound of rain. :)

A light to moderate rain is good. Heavy rain makes it sound like my house is going to collapse...

Oh I like the sound of any rain, even heavy rain. The rain's passed now though. I don't mind thunder and wind either. The only thing I do mind is a tornado. :X

Just watched the 2010 remake of Edge of Darkness. Not sure I really like it. I kind of put it on par with Unthinkable where it doesn't really suck but it leaves you with a sickening feeling, but I don't really like the ending either.

Of course seeing flapping intestines doesn't really help my opinion of Edge of Darkness either. ;)

I've been napping every day for the past week. I guess everything's back to normal since the film shoot. :D
