@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Yeah, if the tornado doesn't get me, surely the anxiety will. I get baaaaad anxiety during times like this. Presently fine right now as there's no immediate threat of severe or tornadic storms, but we are in that special area. In between a bunch of storms right now and there's a tornado warning straight north of here but we're fine from that one. I'm also concerned about my parents as they're presently out and about right now too. Here's to hoping we don't get something?

Nah, never mind. Looks like we're in the clear now. A little further north and a little east of here is getting hammered with tornadoes though. But at least we aren't. xD They made it sound like we were in the high risk area to find out only just a little east of this city is in the high risk. We're in the moderate risk area and did get a storm but it only rained for a few minutes. There's nothing here now and it looks like our storms are done with today.

Got my tower up and going! Just have to fix the sound and video though. Can't run my NWN cause of an issue with the video and I'm having problems with the sound drivers too. After this can get back to my studying. :) Got three more quizzes tomorrow and then Friday. After that I can do my finals too since they release on Friday as well. Not going to do them exactly on Friday though since I've got until June 10th to complete them. I want to study a good bit before then to be sure I ace the exams. :)

May have to vanish again today due to weather related issues. I'm in the area of pretty much the highest rated risk area for very nasty tornadic weather. -_-

*is also in the path of that storm system.*
In the known history of this area, there's never been a tornado go through the town. So, I'm hoping that since the town's between me and the storm system, that whatever it is that's kept them away still does so, if one comes around... So far, not enough clouds to KO the tv reception, which is a good sign.

Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...

Entire world population infected 2,7000 hours from first contact.

According to some story, the Holy City or something to do with Indians keep Lawton from having tornadoes as well. However, Lawton's last tornado tore through the area of the city I presently live in back in 1979. I'm told the house I live in though was still standing even though the tornado went right across the top of it and demolished the surrounding houses. That doesn't mean I'm okay with a swirling mass of death though. ;)

And I found out the exciting high risk area wasn't actually over Lawton (earlier today they said it was). It only went halfway through the county eastward. So east of I-44. We were just in the moderate risk area. However, we didn't really get much of anything except rain, little hail and some wind. Oklahoma City and Norman fared worse though. Someone we know in Edmond had four tornadoes in the area. Not sure how many went over their house but as far as I know their house is fine. Or at least still standing.

Hey, look! I'm on IMDB.com! And I don't even have Pro access!

Neat!

You have company. ;)

But then I know somebody who is much more important in the game industry (not important per se, just relative to me) -- he worked at EA and then Activision -- and he still doesn't have an IMDB entry. So it doesn't really mean much. :P

Well, the crazy guy came out saying he got the date wrong. Its not now October 21st.

Actually he didn't say he got the date wrong. The prediction was always that the end of the world was October 21st; May 21st was merely Judgment Day. Why October 21st? Because that's five months after the date of the rapture (which the Bible does say: there will be five months of suffering before the end of the world; in this way, this is the only calculation he's ever made that actually makes sense). In his mind, the rapture did occur as scheduled, it's just that it didn't take the form he expected. So apparently what happened was that Jesus did come back and judged everybody's souls, he just didn't make a spectacle of it. Or something.

More than likely he knows he is/was wrong and won't admit it so he's coming up with excuses.
