When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

A friend of mine started me on One Piece recently. I've only seen the first 13 episodes. It's a fun show so far.

Stay away from the 4Kids dub if you decide to watch it.

One Piece... ah, that takes me back. I loved the manga (at least, as far as i got in it... which wasn't very far). What was that awesome captain's name from book one? He was the best character ever.

The captain....you mean the main character Luffy?

That's one of my default rules in life anyway. Funimation released an English dub, though I watched the Japanese dub on the disc anyway. Great fun to watch so far! I enjoyed it.

I love you, DS. I love you, roms.

EDIT: Whoa! I have "666" in my post count! *goes off to do mischievous things!* :velvet:

Six more days of freedom! Come next Wednesday, I shall be a student again. First time in three years I was in any kind of classes. They're online, so I better make sure my damn internet is working since it's been dodgy the last few days. Gotten into three courses. A+ certification, networking+, and security+. Six weeks long and a class each week on Wednesday and Friday, so it's actually much more relaxed than the overtime courses I was doing at the university for three semesters straight (20hrs, 10hrs, and 21hrs).

My parents have been asking me for quite some time now (must be a year or two?) to do a little more schooling and acquire a skill to be able to secure good jobs. They've been concerned about me one day living on my own without an ability to get a decent job. I met with a career counselor earlier this month, and given my background and years around computers, she highly recommended this and also told me it can get me into very well paying jobs. I even have a friend who has a career in this (IT, in specific) and he does definitely make a lot of money in this.

Plus, I'd make for quite a sexy computer tech, being in this geeky profession with my nice dresses and high heels. ;)

And that aside, I'm working on my online business as well. :o When my account for this distributor gets approved, then I can get to work on that as well, when the courses and whatnot aren't keeping me busy. xD So with a job in both the computer tech AND my online business? Well provided the latter does well, I could be filthy rich. Mwuahaha. And they both do give me options of one or the other being a back up plan, should one of them fall through.

So...come soon I'll be a very busy woman, and...I better enjoy my video games now. And this whole post DOES make me sound like a nerd. xD An ambitious, pretty nerd! *adjusts her glasses*

What the hell are torrents?

DVDs are your friend too. Blu-rays are expensive friends. *gets off soap box*

DVDs cost money. And you have to wait for them to come out, if they come out. Also, there's a lot of "something that's only worth watching once" on TV.

Torrents are a download thing except the data in the downloads are scattered across different errr people or servers? I don't really use torrents myself THAT often but uh, I guess that'd be how I'd describe it. xD

I dunno. I used to read a lot more than I do now. Sometimes to get inspiration for my writing. :) I just...don't seem to do it these days now. Did find a lovely author whose books I enjoy reading though. A few years ago, when I used to go to the school library for peace and quiet, I ended up stumbling across this author. In my opinion, she's really good with the whole romance and murder mystery. I do have a few of her books that lack in the murder mystery department though. Her name's Kay Hooper. I've read "Touching Evil", "Whispers of Evil", "Once a Thief", and "Always a Thief". I particularly enjoy the last two.

Sometime last year I picked up one of hers called "Blood Sins". Haven't read it yet. :o I have been wanting to complete my collection of her books but I've yet to order the remaining books of each series that I'm missing. They're well worth the read in my opinion though at least.
