@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Only about 3% of our DNA is active. That essentially means that we could exist without 97% of our DNA. That's a lot of "junk" genetic info.

Either that, or there's many other "selves" within our DNA that are lurking and waiting to come out at any moment. Some of them may use as much as 20% of you DNA, making them vastly stronger than the self 3% you currently are, and will cause great damage once they become self aware.
I believe in what I want to believe in, you believe in what you want to believe in, so when someone wants to believe in something, no one will know what to believe!

Yeah that other 97% are recessive genes and other fun stuff like that. One example would be that I'm the only blonde one in my family in less you go back 3 generations on either side and you finally run into a couple of blondes. I also have a big family..like.. 100 cousins if I counted each one and a crap load of aunts and uncles... I mostly just know my dads side.. Its smaller and easier to keep track of.

Another bonus of being adopted, sort of... Of course, there's also the flipside to that, in that you don't know if your family has any history of serious genetic problems, or if someone you might be interested in is actually related to you... There's a very real danger of accidentally marrying your sister or a cousin. On the other flipside of that, my brother is getting away with dating one of our cousins because we're adopted...

First day off since January 10th today, quite lovely outside, although a bit cold. Had a chance to pick up a brewing guide while I was at it.

I'm worried that I might be failing student teaching. I just can't seem to get any better at it no matter what I do. I'm still passing as it stands now, but don't know if I can improve enough by my next observation. Shame, I just picked up my cap, gown, and honors rope today, now I'm scared I won't get to wear it.

Wow...sounds tough. I hope everything works out for ya. Just out of curiosity...what is it you're teaching?

At times, it's nice to take comfort in the fact that I share no blood ties with the people who call themselves my family...

Don't you just hate cold, rainy days when it's not even real rain, but rather, that sort of "the cold water is just condensing on stuff" sort of misting all day? Fortunately, it's supposed to warm up by 30 degrees tomorrow. Now, if only that was 50 degrees, we'd have some descent weather ahead...
