That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I'm a little confused as to why i can't see my profile picture next to my posts anymore. Did i miss a setting? I see my picture up next to my name in the top-right corner...

There's two separate pictures on the forums...your profile picture and your avatar. The profile picture is what you see in the top right corner when you sign in and is also on your profile page. Your avatar is what is shown beside each post.

So... I was supposed to be flying to Japan soon to aide in the clean up - but that's been canned now and passed onto a different Unit. I was then tasked with a ten day escort gig for some poor chap getting Court Martialed - but that got canned today as well.

On the plus side we were just granted a four-day weekend - buuuut I have to give Infantry lessons starting Monday so I'll be wasting up my free time doing lesson preps.

All in all only one smiley comes to mind right now: :aaarrrgh: However, tonight I will definitely be: :john:

You know.. Fuck you and your 4 day weekends. Or your 4 weeks off for Christmas, or your week off cause its too rainy outside, or whatever other crap things you get off. I have a 10 day Vacation coming up..First Vacation (especially a out of town vacation) in a loong time. Where am I going?.. Somewhere a lot colder then it is here.. Didn't quite plan the timing out well..

Haha! Fuuny thing is that was actually part of the movie Metropolis. It surprised me too when I first watched it, but now it's got to be one of my favorite movie endings ever, right up there with Casablanca and the like.

I watch Destination Truth sometimes. However I watch it mostly cause the host can be hilarious and I'm pretty sure he just does the show to screw around.
