They're calling or 12-20 inches of snow tonight. I knew it was going to be bad but.........we really might loose power.......
I want spring.
Edit:And ice....they're calling for ice....lots of ice.....and downed trees.....and downed power lines....... ._.

Don't know how bad it will be for my area. Cold and fucking windy. Maybe ice and snow too.

Would actually love to get some of that snow up here. Believe it or not, teachers actually do enjoy snow days just as much as students. Would love to have one just so I can clean my apartment a bit more thoroughly. Not that it's messy, but I'd like to make it "nice."

That can be fixed...
It also depends on the circumstance. If a police car wizzes by blaring it's siren, nobody will stop them. Heck if a cop shoots someone but they can justify it, there is no problem. Course it is a lot harder to justify it then you would think...
Around here, they usually don't need the sirens out here to blow the doors off of regular traffic. Considering that usually means that there's about a dozen vehicles on the highway between here and Kansas City or here and Oklahoma, they usually don't run much risk of running into someone or something... And most of the locals just wave and watch 'em disappear into the horizon. Putting on the lights and/or sirens will cause people to pull over to the shoulder. They usually don't do that unless there's a lot of people on the road (such as around the holidays or heavy travel seasons).

Yeah... Ice and snow, here. Projected around 18 inches or so... And our power's been off and on all day... Hopefully, it'll stay on... If it doesn't, I'm goinna hafta either find some family to say with until the power's back on for good and someone to help me move over there, since my truck's not goinna be able to go anywhere until the ice/snow is melted enough, or borrow a couple of generators and extension cords for portable heaters, the fridge, and microwave...
And people sometimes wonder why I hate the cold so much...
Welcome to the club. I hope your power doesn't go out.

There's not one in my bed... I'd advise you to double-check your research before pranking someone... I do have to wonder just who managed to prank, though...

We're getting sleet here too. I'm guessing the middle sections of the US are getting fucked up? National weather map looks like a mess.
