@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Are you sure? 'Cuz I'm TOTALLY OK if it's, like, worse than you intended it to sound.

That's quite nifty. If I ever get the money, I may look into a project. Maybe something like flashier sheathes for my knives or something....

Perhaps I could agree to that - but my hesitation is more in that I would wish to make sure that any such item would meet your standards of construction. As a rule, I tend to prefer durability and practicality of items, and it seems that you've a strong background in judging the soundness of any items you possess.

In any case, thank you first for noticing that work there, and thank you also for merely having such an offer in mind.

Isn't it funny how Sally has no speaking parts at all in Sonic Christmas Blast -- and they actually tried to make a joke out of it? Sonic's very first words to her include "Don't say another word", and later she is clearly about to speak, but stops because Sonic is already running off.

I have to wonder if they intended to give her lines and something came up, so they had to make the best of a bad situation or something.

I dunno. I've often wondered why she never spoke a single word in there. Curious though. I don't remember the dates, so was AoStH Sally's first appearance, or was SatAM?

SatAM was first. SatAM was 1993, when Sonic Christmas Blast was Dec. 24, 1996. Since SatAM ended in 1994, that actually makes it Sally's last appearance on TV.

Ah, I see. I wonder why they chose her first design over the most current one at the time and didn't give her any lines.

I'm guessing 'cause of the association of Pink Sally with AoStH via Archie Comics.

Curious indeed.

Ah, how the decisive points make for interesting quirks...

PS: I had also forgotten to mention, Vlad, that I had worked on a quick knife sheath for one of my uncle's large mining-knives. Although it was a very basic thing, I've long since been wanting to work on another higher-quality knife-sheath for him. The former sheath in question was rather basically decorated, featuring a large, stylized feather on it's surface, with a simple whip-stitch lacing at it's egdges.

I lost several scripts today for my comic. Bad times.
Assasins Creed Brotherhood is good! Good times!

Mrph. I'm kind of up and down about Brotherhood. I loved it when I first played it, but after beating the game, it somehow got quickly burned out. I mean I still have treasures and flags to get and finish up rebuilding. But I dunno. It doesn't seem to be as replayable as AC2. And Brotherhood seems a bit...short. And I still don't understand the ending. xD.png

Of what story it does have though, it's good. It has more emotional bits than AC2 I think, but it almost seems to fall flat near the end.

In my opinion games need more co-op gameplay. As much as I like blowing my friends heads off in the online-multiplayer-shooter-that-has-been-in-every-game-since-halo I like playing as a team. And I mean the actual storymode or campaign mode of a game. Not some extra co-op missions or a Team vs Team multiplayer mode. And not online only. Have a local co-op.

Have a local co-op... That brings to mind paintball games, or laser tag, as opposed to the general store. I am certain that was a part of your point. I also agree that multiplayer campaign missions can be quite enjoyable - even though the only memories I have of that are a level or two of Halo, whereupon my brother insisted on sneaking up behind me and killing me, only to find that moments later he needed my help - and I'd yet to respawn. Fool.

Ah, Halo co-op. When I was in high school I would get together with about eight or more friends and we'd play a ton of Sanctuary team CTF in Halo 2 for hours. One of my friends and I would switch to co-op campaign, after everyone else crashed, and we'd find the most retarded ways to have fun. In particular, we'd find an enemy-free area and die repeatedly in the same spot until there were about twenty or so bodies on the ground. Then we'd stick one of them and watch the tidal wave of corpses!

...Well, it was funnier at 4:15 AM. xD.png

I hate the multi-player feature to games. I don't play games often anyway (5 times a year max), so I always get my ass handed to me. Co-Op for campaigns are much more fun for me.

Lol I enjoy co-op more than multiplayer too. The only problem is that they rarely CO-OPerate. >:/
