That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I'm translating a Japanese game to English and there's a character called Peruu. I was always at a loss as to what to call her in English, so for the longest time I've just called her Peru. Eventually I realized that she must be a Persian cat (this was by no means easy to tell, given the artwork) and so her name must be a play on "perusha", the Japanese name for the Persian cat. If it were a male I'd translate it as Percy, but I need a feminine name, and I can't think of a better one than just Persia, so that's what I'm using.

So when I made the change to the script and committed it to the code repository, I had to write a log entry. So this is what I wrote:

"Peru is now Persia. Many geographers are highly confused by this change."
