That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I think it's more that he simply can make more this fast. I mean, regardless of one's actual opinion on the games themselves, I think we can agree that from a technical standpoint, they're not very complicated. You're stuck in one room the whole game, there are no jump physics to worry about, control is limited to looking left + right and flipping through security monitors, etc. I mean of course work still needs to be put into it (the majority of it going to the art department), just not nearly as much compared to any other game, indie or otherwise.

 

Basically, the way I see it, any waiting on his part would be arbitrary, and he'd be spending a long time twiddling his thumbs doing nothing, either before he makes it or he makes it and sits on it for a while. Now, whether or not he should grin and bear it for the sake of the "brand" is a different question altogether, but these are my two cents.

I've actually been in contact with someone who works with the guy that makes FNF. They're basically doing more to satiate the hardcore fans that keep pestering them to make more.

Isn't it cool when you pick up an album to get a single song, and it turns out that the rest of the ones on there are awesome, too? This has happened with the past few CDs I've picked up. :evo:

Sucks though when you pick up an album for one song, and it turns out you hate all the others. Happened when I got an Eagles album (One of These Nights) for Journey of the Sorcerer (the theme to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).

Don't you hate it when you get a rare item in a videogame and then the game crashes, so you have to try to get the item again and hope the RNG will get tired of you re-loading the game?
