That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

The First Mortal Kombat movie was good. The rest? Not so much


Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I think the first MK movie worked because it didn't stray too far from the source material...and, unlike the Street Fighter movie, all the character actors could fight rather than just one.  (Everyone except Van Damme in the SF movie had to be taught to fight.)

 

Still liked Julia's "It was a Tuesday" speech, though.  It really hammered home what a dongblench Bison was.

Raul Julia should have had a muscle suit under that uniform. Bison is a huge guy.

He was on the verge of death so he let his kids pick a role they'd love to watch. And he REALLY went with that role.

I always thought Street Fighter would work best as a series of three movies to cover the first two games. First movie would be like Bloodsport with Van Damme with Sagat as the big bad, and keep Bison out of it. Could have Ryu and Ken meet up Chun Li there who is undercover, and Cammy would be in the background targeting her. Would work well for a self contained film if they kept it simple. The latter two would be based on the SF II game since the story is so big and their are so many characters it would take two films to do it justice.

It wasn't just the sprites. The Scorpion picture wasn't loading, either. They all loaded this time, though.
