That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Guy shot a soldier at the war memorial. Then went into parliament where he shot at least 1 guard before being shot himself. Talks of other shooters but nothing confirmed.

Ottawa is still under lock down last I heard. MP's are still locked inside of the Parliament building with their staff. RCMP are just going room by room building by building clearing it.

There are city police here and there.  Your big cities have their own forces.  Like the VPD  for Vancouver and so on.   But the RCMP reign in the country.  As well as control anything outgoing.  

Terrorist wise the JTF2 use to be under the RCMP till the 90s when the Military took over it and created a task force...Thus JTF2...Joint Task Force 2.    Takes the RCMP eliments with Military and created one of the best elite squads in the world.
JTF2 was actually in Afghanistan before any troops were suppose to be in there.  This is of course after 9/11.

When I read RCMP my first thought was Military Police. I'm with RACMP, so you can forgive the stupid confusion.

This is all just fucked up though. Base security at all Army establishments have gone up, and all of us have been strongly recommended to avoid wearing our uniforms in public. In our own country. Heck, Soldier mates in Sydney have been banned from visiting certain nearby suburbs because of the high volume of Muslim infestation in the area. A part of me deeply feels like I am back overseas waiting for the next IDF rocket attack to come, and hearing news on more mates killed in action. I can't stand this feeling.
