You know, back when he was first introduced I never took him for a knuckle dragging idiot. In fact, I thought of him more of a trickster and trap master.

This picture makes Knuckles's new design feel naked. I know most Sonic characters are always naked, but this one makes it stand out... Usually you (or at least I) don't think about it to much, this picture just makes me think "Knux why ain't you wearing pants? Put your pants back on!"
When the heck did they enter the Grid?

I haven't watched anything pre-ninth
A lot of deeper things like the one above and less saccharine - though there is some chesse, it's no where as MSG-packed as the new stuff where he can save the day with just his screwdriver and undo his greatest mistakes with the literal push of a button.

They put in the Disney X-D channel, a station nobody had, and then put it on at night when people went to bed. Despite it having a huge fanbase Disney ignored everyone. No DVDs, no merchandise, nothing. One has to wonder if this was a spiteful maneuver done against some execs.
In a way, it almost mirrors how SatAM ended up back in the day. Put on a bad timeslot, very little advertising, no merchandise, and no home releases(at least for another 15 years).
