Ironically I believe you'd have to be a rather empty person to not have pride in the achievements of your children.

Which is true, since that is a good thing. I think Mr. Carlin was referring to those parents who try to make thier kids succeed because they are trying to live vicariously through their kids. You know...like those fathers in sitcoms who want their sons to be good at sports because they couldn't become sports stars themselves.

...and that's why we love them. Gamers live for Easter Eggs. The more ridiculous, the better. I mean...just look at all of the referencial stuff in Borderlands 2. ESPECIALLY Gaige's movelist!

Moose shoot chief.
They've been feuding for years
They fight over the same territory...It has been an epic struggle as the two cultures are completely opposed to each other in way of life and ideal. Just recently there was a vicious bombing of Cheif's beer fridge by the moose radicals...none of these poor spirits survived. Officials say that The Commander and Chief known to the Cheifs as...well, Chief said he will stop at nothing to hunt down and eradicate the Moose terrorists hiding in local dens close to other innocent woodland creatures with discretion and ruthless distinction.
"The cowards will not survive," says Cheif the Cheif.
To the south President Barrack Obama has laid sanctions and pressures on Stephen Harper to nullify the dispute, but this has so far only lead to bitter disputes between the two countries. The European and the UN have also demanded a ceasefire yet there is a refusal on both sides, and the situation only seems to become more hostile day by day between the two embattled populaces.
