@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Bajo/baja is just Spanish for "low" (or in this context "lower"). It's not any stranger than having a North and South Dakota.

That makes Baja Blast sound very, very unappetizing.  xD

Why our current administration's economic ideals have hurt us rather than helped.

Can we ruin the economy by illogical, sensational voting? "Yes we can!" xD

Now that is mind-skewing.

"So then you get the the argument, well, this is not a stimulus bill, this is a spending bill. Whad do you think a stimulus is? That's the whole point. No, seriously, that's the point." - Barrack Obama.

Now you see the fatal error in his Keynesian thinking. Throwing money - our  tax money - you do not have at problem causes inflation, debt, and merely displaces existing money thus stealing jobs from the people like our serving vetrans (I know a Purple Heart Vetran who was just laid off for this reason), benifits for the disabled, benifits for hospice (the Affordable Healthcare act has slashed funding on Hospice already and that leeching is made worse by bad stimulus), and puts a horrid tax-strain on small and developing business. This is all an idiotic gamble merely creating jobs somewhere else, somewhere the goverment thinks is best (mostly the stiumlus money given to those who pay to keep them in power like from various groups spanning from Agribussinesses to GM) and to whomever best fits their ideals (542 Million of our tax dollars go to Planned Parenthood) rather than where the people desire and to bailout industries and to grease the palms of special interest groups that lobby for these policticians. Combine this with the insane regulations as of late, businesses must be selective over who they hire (causing youth unemployment to soar as these bussiness are uncertain how productive the indvidual will be they are hiring versus the cost of the benfits they must give them according to coercive laws like the Affordable Healthcare Act). So ultimately Keynesian spending, especially when  mixed with crazy regulations forced on the free-market by our current goverment, has hurt our nation's economy more than ever. We then must think on more than just what we have lost due to all these sloppy politcs but what we could have gained if the American people, the consenting governed, fought this corruption and economically shortsighted approach to benifiting the American people, in science, in education, in industry, and in overall progress.

If I'm to believe it's status, it's one of the hardest games in recent years. Our generation's equivalent to Super C or something. It's also really good.

My views on the actions of this new president of ours and these politics in general can be summed up in one of my favorite quotes from my favorite games:

"Politics, how tiresome." -Prophet of Truth, 9th Age of Reclamation, Halo 2

After whining about his antics for so long and so much, I just gave up. No matter how much you express your opinions on the matter, he's the guy with the big boy pants and the choice to do what he wants, how he wants. If he was a bit more callous, he'd just run sweeps on people and criminize the nay-sayers just like his supporters did during his first election, because "anyone who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist".

No matter how much you satirize, criticize, and voice your concerns about him, nothing will change. He'll continue to do what he deems best in his opinion until he is elected out of office, just like every president before him.

Super C isn't a hard game, It's just not played as much as Contra 1 or 3. So it's not one of those games that people are just good at.

Not true at all. Remember in 1816 the American people held a populist revolt after Congress decided to raise it's own pay. Congress was forever altered by the will of the people in one day and still today there has been no direct pay raise of the sort in Congress.  John Randolph of Roanoak, a Congressman of Virginia at the time, called the public's punch to goverment's face as: "the great Leviathan rousing into action." More than half of those in the The House of Represenatives complicit to the decision declined to campaign for another term and 15 of the 81 who gave consent to the raise in pay that did choose to campaing for reelection barely made it through. Even the famous Kentuckian Henry Clay got in barely after he promised to reverse the bill he voted for and forever fight such bills likend to it. We must then remember how this country was founded - grass roots revolt no reform from the English Court from the top.

The more they "Criminalize" the more illgetimize themselves to the consenting governed. Look at the Edward Snowden controversy and Louis Lerner - Lerner is being held in contempt and the senate will change faces soon as the democratic super-majority is threatend by a conservative backlash. Obamacare is massive failure. His gun-control schemes have failed. Every "change" he has wished to make has been eroded at greatly one way or another, even with a Congress majority in his favor. If the people did not fight such...imagine how much worse this all would have been.

Also remember, again,  rule is based on the consent of the governed. If we do not consent and grass roots initiatives kow-tow to the above defeatist mentality then we then consent to injuistice and the abuse of power through our inactivity to fight it. And that's no good...

In the end Obama really hasn't got his way or brough the "hope" he thought best for America. He's just been another wrench in the wheel after the last inept administration. The private world moves on if not from a stumble. No regulation or red tape in the world can stop production and action truly wanted - people find ways to subvert if not subdue. The people though have the choice to give in and give up liberty to the special intrests of idealogues or think about what's good for the future of America.

I think this puts it best.
