That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Apparently I've found my rhythm again. I'm not quite as good at AoM as I used to be, but I'm once again extremely dangerous if you're a noob.

If you're an experienced player, though, I'll probably fall apart quite quickly.

It's still as if I'd never played the game before at all either. I found my rhythm but it had more to do with knowing how to play an RTS in general than with previous knowledge of the game. The only things previous knowledge of AoM really helped me with were 1) pick Thor ('cause that's who I always played as before) and 2) because I'm Thor, use dwarfs instead of villagers. (And even then it took me a while to recall #2.) Not exactly a mindblowing recollection of how to play.

You should have seen me struggle to figure out how to build a house in my first game. It probably took me over a minute. I'd completely forgotten that for the Norse it's the military units that build houses, not villagers. The only thing Norse villagers ever build is farms.
