@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Last warning.  I said to move it to the hot topic thread.

I guess you need to tell RedStranger about it. After all, he's the one who bring that up, even though he didn't need to...

I'm warning all involved.  If you want to continue, it needs to go into the hot topic thread.

Alex you have started this thing by saying what you said to Ben...you best listen to Red and drop it. Ben has already been PMing me saying:

Can i say Alex's recent post almost set me off? I was about to call him an insensitive asshole.

And now he's saying:

His logic is flawed and he refuses to read the whole thing. Im just gonna drop it at this point. No need to cause problems.

You are not winning any friends here pal...but you sure are pushing people away. You are not listening to anyone but yourself and redefining people you don't know and a country you know little about through your eyes only and are insulting our public servants with unfair and generalist accusations that fail to fit to some standard of universal logic (Again you have commited the fallcies of Pettito Principii, Hastey Gernalization, Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc, part-to-whole, and whole-to-part).  I mean even Canada is not as you say, there are Swat and armoured vehicals. And has had to do the exact same things as what happend during the Boston Bombing. I would never accuse Canadians as being dumb, unwitting members of some poilce state after they experianced an incident like this, and this issue isn't about your communism or atheism, but your flawed arguments and how you hurt Ben in a sour moment with an unfair argument. Red and Ben are both right drop this you, and you only, are only making your condition worse. I have a responce ready if you want to keep on waging this needless war in a hot topic thread, but for now I am dropping it.

______________

In other news, guys. Have you ever seen this awesome show?

I would like for us to do an RP based off this game.

Alex you have started this thing by saying what you said to Ben...you best listen to Red and drop it.

You're the one who decide to restart the conversation when there was no need to be. Don't put the blame on me.

Also, for what about ben, i have absolutly NOTHING agaisnt him. I do disagree about him on the context, but with no intention of hurting him in any way shape or form. What about 9/11, or the i don't know how many shooting that has happen in school? What about all of those things? The thing is: it's not JUST about one event, it's about the context that comes along with it!

The 9/11 event in New York make a perfect moment for the US Administration to make the infamous ''Patriotic Act'', which should be consider a crime. The US goverment love when this kind of things happen, because they give them cover for commit thing the population would not support otherwise.

The Reichstag, in 1933 caught fire. Hitler used it to justify his new law the transform Germany into a police state. Bush used 9/11 to justify the exact same things with the Patriotic Act. So now instead of stating how much my argument are ''flawed'', and how much i ''supposedly know nothing about the US'', i suggest that you might consider the threat of your own goverment, instead of blindly support them.

-----------------------------------------

And Ben, look, i'm really sorry if you really take it badly, especially since it's not the point, but the consequense is worse to simply support the goverment. In these situation, i can understand the feeling to find safety, but the reality have shown us the it's not the goverment who will provide it. In the contrary, i'll go as far to suggest everyone to be carefull with this. Such situation will get worse, as long as will let them go.

-----------------------------------------

Edit: I need to add: What about those hundred of thousand, if not more, of people who died in the Middle East, from the 90's, to the 2000's, because of lies? Do people really care? It seem like the world collapse when something bad happen in the US, but when the US is fully responsible for murder other country, it's fine? Since there's nobody from Irak, or other of these country here in this forum to talk about those situation, does that mean it doesn't count at all? All of this with the pretention of protecting people agaisnt an invisible ''boogeyman''? Is that it? Why should we in a society hide under the threat of ''evil terrorist'', when there's no terrorist? But the military increased constanly and police tension get worse and worse. We got many case of police shooting first, ask question later. Just this alone should be enough to raise few question of what really happening...

Guess how much those vehicles are being used in comparaison of the US, and in which situation they are used...

The comparaison is like day and night.

The Red Stranger, you have a problem reading to what Red just said?  Cease your badgering, or there will be consequenses.

Alextendo, same to you.  Enough, I do not want to see another post about this subject, or you will not like the results.

In all seriousness, though, what happened yesterday was Bluehost had an outage. A very long one, apparently.

I would say my faith in them is shattered, but that would require me to have had any in the first place. :P

I know this one. It's a double trick question. One's first inclination is to say gold, because gold is heavy and feathers are light, but of course then you remember that a ton is a ton is a ton, so they must be the same weight. Except a ton isn't a ton, because gold is normally weighed in troy weight, and feathers are normally weighed in avoirdupois weight. So the ton of feathers is heavier.
