That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Wait....WHAT? They DID announced a season 12 of this show? Oh boy, poor Red vs Blue! The season 9 was already not good, then season 10 was mediocre at best, and abysmal at worst. I simply gave up at this point and i haven't watch the 11th season, since it ain't worth my time. Well, it's yet again a perfect exemple of a cash cow making machine milked to death.

 

When i thought the serie could have ended at the end of season 5...


If my english can look like crap, don't kill me...please? French is my native language!

Uh.....did you know that they make money of their serie by selling DVD, Blu-ray and digitals episode through Xbox Live? Microsoft even help them to sell their product. They do make money with Red vs Blue.

 

Beside, as they see tasteless consumer buying Red vs Blue product, only because it's Red vs Blue (no matter how much the quality of this franchise as dropped), they still going to milk it. They don't making more because fan like it, but rather because it sell, just like Call of Duty, Assasin's Creed, Battlefield, etc. I can guarantee that from the moment when the fan will get sick of it and will stop buying it, Rooster Teeth will drop Red vs Blue like a rock.

True, but that doesn't mean that's why they do it.  Consider for a moment that there is no new announced Halo game.  Why would Microsoft put money into Red vs. Blue with no benefit for them?

True, but that doesn't mean that's why they do it.  Consider for a moment that there is no new announced Halo game.  Why would Microsoft put money into Red vs. Blue with no benefit for them? 

Well, they sell episode through Xbox Live, so..... Microsoft get their part of money, Rooster Teeth too.

 

Also, they (Rooster Teeth) make Red vs Blue video to promote new Halo game from time to time. In the end, everybody win....and by everybody i mean Microsoft and Rooster Teeth.

 

But that aside, i just want Red vs Blue to stop. Not because i don't like it, but rather because i do like it. I had enough to see what used to be a funny and entertaining series devolve into a generic action with boring and overpower character (aka the Freelancer) that are so empty and uninteresting that you start to wonder what you're watching is really Red vs Blue or not. We reach the point where they put Caboose in front of the spotlight once in awhile so he can say something stupid just to make us remember that were watching something that used to be fun.

 

The season 1 to 5 were excellent, had clever writting and a very good character interaction driven kind of humour. It work very well that way. Then, when the season 6 came out, some of the major plot point got removed (like how they ended up in the future, or how Church was a ghost) and replaced all of this with a more ''gritty'' and ''serious and edgy'' story that fall flat. Then, in season 8, the worst fucking thing happen: they add CGI. At first it was cool, but then all the CGI battle scene start to look the same, and the (fucking) Freelancer are presented as WAAAAAY too overpower (not to mention how boring they are), which make all the battle scene look like they try too hard to make it badass....without actually being able to make them badass.

 

Too many things has gone wrong from that point. It could take nearly forever to name them all.
