Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

I'm more partial to Mecha/Space War/Sci-Fi Animes myself.

Sure other animes also are good, but those are the ones I like the best.

My favorite kinds vary. I switch between Action, Comedy and Cutesy stuff.

Even though I hate vampires, Hellsing is rather good. Also, Wolf's Reign.

So I been collecting some old anime VHS's that are from the 80's and 90's. Alot of them were my gateway rentals back in the early blockbuster days. I figured to show you my collection.

Tell me, over time how do you think the art has changed?

On one hand the art has become sharper and more polished, but it has lost alot of its effective realism and grit. The styles are too blob and moe.

So, I feel a dog nuzzle my arm and figure it's Sandy, the world's best mutt and friend to all she knows, and many she doesn't. Turns out, it's Jerry, my "kill everything that's not part of our pack, with extreme prejudice" German Shepherd/who-knows-what-else guard dog. I'm the only person in the world who can touch him without the fear of losing a hand (or more) in the process. Being the Alpha to a dog like that is a bit of a power trip. Made more awesome by the fact that he was a stray, and only ever growled at me the first time I put a collar on him. So, think whatever you want of me. Because what you think of me doesn't really matter. I know I'm effing awesome. :evo:

I have a lot of those on old VHS tapes. I got them from my brother-in-law when he worked for Blockbuster about 10-12 years ago; they were being "retired" and the manager told them to take them out and smash them with a hammer, but was okay with them taking them home. Dominion Tank Police, Tokyo Babylon, Bubblegum Crisis, Seguy, Venus Wars, Detonator Orgun, and Doomed Megalopolis are some that I really like that we got that way. The only anime' that I know he kept was Oh! My Goddess!

Pokemon was a huge turning point where these kinds of anime began to fizzle out completely. Genocyber, Iczelion, MAPS, Fatal Fury, Shutendoji, Guyver Bio Boosted Armor, and Roujin Z are my personal favorites among the classics.

They actually showed Akira on Toonami a couple of weeks ago.  Last week they showed some weird movie called "Summer Wars".

Still very much a fan of Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex.  (Original and 2nd Gig)

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

That one's mostly alright. But those damned spider tanks are annoying as hell...

[I'm guessing by the huge blank post there was a video here]

Encore Action used to have anime for insomniacs, playing a block from 1am to 3am, central time. I caught Hellsing, Domnion Tank Police, and Bubblegum Crisis on that.

Fans of Gargoyles might appreciate this. With the newest DVD, Disney did a real shitty job with it. Complete stock flat looking art with the ugly yellow border. I took some better art, and redid the front and back to make it look more proper.

^_^ LOL just wanted to start off my morning with one of my fave Robin Williams quotes, FUS style of course ;) haha. Anyway, yesterday was my 1st day as an official employee at my job. And as an official employee, i get to be a cashier, which i haven't been one since '06!  And i was real nervous cause not only was i responsible for that register, but let's say the cameras in the store are linked up to main headquarters so the "big guys" can see what's going on in real-time.  <_< Not to mention there's those fuckin' "secret shoppers"  hired to snoop on us. So far my boss told me i did great for my 1st day,  i'm getting used to their system haha. Thank God it's not like Home Depot,  ugh! Home Depot was too complex!

Anyway, i'm gonna hang out for a bit then i gotta go to work at 3pm (PT). I closed the store yesterday and i'm gonna do it again today haha.  Must be cause i have experience in closing stores i guess.

LOL i remember that episode! I loved watching that when i was a teenager, ^_^ seeing it on TeenNick now brings back memories

An very rare photo of the late singer Aaliyah next to a statue of Sonic...

Nice.  I only just started watching the series myself, pretty impressed, save for I can't find a character I really like except the villains.

Goliath is okay...I just don't find him Interesting. Specifically after the first couple episodes, when the other started stealing the limelight.

My generation must have been forgotten. :( because most of the shows we remember here I was either "to young" or "to old" to get into. :/
