But that's mainly because of the current over-saturation of movies and TV shows that have been made.

"Everyone creates the thing that they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people...? CHILDREN! (chuckles) Lost the word there..."

Indeed, too much of something can spoil your appitite. No matter the quality. That's fair.

And I find it quite hipocritical that you judge the new Archie Sonic Universe on only a few issues but are telling me I have unfairly judged Mystery Inc on the first episode. In fact you were judging Bunnies new history before the issue came out.
If you don't like something you have the right to not like it. I don't like the changes they made in Mystery Inc, and after one episode that I found horribly boring and stupid. I have no desire to continue the series, even after reading the tidbit describing what to look forwards to in the next episodes. Done deal.

It's okay not to have intrest in something, critquing the whole show is another thing.
Really is it new? It's the same old politics on the same old old trajectory. I indeed hope for the best for the comic narratively, but when examing the meta-narrative realities like I did with such, I confessed my doubts and expressed my criticism of for the most part the outside realities of the comic and how I fear they are negativly impacting the series. Apples and oranges. MIC doesn't have the poltical baggage Archie Comics does, and unlike with Archie you can't create an acurrate forecast, especially because it's actually newer than the new Archie Sonic.
Yes you are right. And you don't have to. I'm just saying you shouldn't poo on something just because you personally have no intrest in it (unless you're just being lighthearted and teasing, that's okay. "Trap fetish"
).
You also made a Argumentum ad Hippocratum again...

And I don't understand what that means.
And is Scooby-Doo and Mystery Inc really all that incomparable to Past Archie Sonic and Current Archie Sonic? They are both new twist on a old tale.

I wasn't being light hearted I was giving my distaste for the series. It wasn't a critique, but a basic description of my reasonings.

That's pretty much the bare-bones definition of what a critque is: a list of your reasons about the quality of a work.
Then comes an oppurtunity for learning...wait, I thought I told you this before.
Nha...I really don't feel you here Red. MIC and Archie Sonic are from very different medias, genres, creative/poltical-spheres, and personal franchise histories. For example Scooby Doo didn't Genisis Wave half of the plot and character development away from a story in mid-stride with a lack of resolution in the many plots given.

Except that doesn't matter when you still judged a change before it actually appeared and before you had the details and still told me not to judge something based on what I actually saw in the first episode because you claimed that wasn't enough to critique it. No matter how you slice that up, that is a bit hypocritical.

Secondly, the retcon was not completely in Archie's control AND Scooby-Doo already had multiple continuations of the series including but not limited to What's New Scooby-Doo and the Seven ghosts (or whatever it was called, which was also left unfinished) which Mystery Inc ignores.

I was ultimatly assessing the potentiality of an arc in comparison to another potential arc, not necessarily the quality of the single issue at hand. I find a lot more can be done and such can't be done because of...constraints. I fear too much has been droped and abandoned, and oversimplyfying has been confused as streamlining. I think the overall potentiality of Bunnie's arc is rather unoriginal (Robocop called...) and from my personal experience I find it of less subtextual worth than the obvious alternatives which are more tonaly relevant themes of Roboticization, which is a powerful symbol and staple of Sonic Lore. Overall I think better choice could have been made. And unlike you, I have not blown off an entire series (which I don't think is all that perfect). I am still reading the comics and hope, hope, hope enjoy them. I am just disillusioned with certain aspects. Is this a crime? When did this forum become the Archie Sanhedrin? Of what heresy am I charged?Except that doesn't matter when you still judged a change before it actually appeared and before you had the details and still told me not to judge something based on what I actually saw in the first episode because you claimed that wasn't enough to critique it. Actually they do get into this...Flim Flam gets a moment.
Do note I take your words to heart Red. And I am willing to humbly correct my perceptions if you have objectivly revealed a distortion therein. I'm not here to get involved in a wizzing match, or a withchunt. I really don't think you understand the fullness of my position. Perhaps I have communicated it wrongly.

I believe actually it was I who caused the misunderstanding. I expressed my opinion on why I did not like Mystery Inc, which largely came from the my lack of interest in the first episode and the lack of interest in the synopsis of the season. I did not mean to critique the series other than why I myself found it distasteful.
I then got defensive when you told me I was being unfair to the series for a reason I (even after your explanations) find very hypocritical, because to me it sounds like we both did the same thing, regardless of the media, histories, or continuity of these series.
I meant not to call names, or find flaw in your logic, but rather defend my own.

That is alright. And you have the right, in at least my opinion, to dislike something.
And tough my position stands undaunted by a cogent rebuttal . I will do some soul-searching...At the end of the day we must all focus our criticism back into a mirror. I will seek to find the speck in my eye, before pointing out splinter in everyone else's. Our own conscious makes the best counter-arguments.

I didn't mean it in that way honestly, but I agree it does sound dirty when taken out of the context. If you've seen the show Freddy's obsession with snares and traps is unreal; it's taken so far it is a main tenant of the character to the point of a true fetishism.
