@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

So i have a mirco-fracture in my left wrist.

Gosh...you just can't keep yourself whole can you? How did you pull that off?

Well it had to be at work yesterday. No clue how im trying to figure out how but my hand it taped up now

Where do you work at a 19th century sweat-shop? Is it owned by a mad Darwinian robber baron? Is your boss named Rever? Goodness, first your ankel, then God knows what else, and now your wrist...  There must be some form of elaborate, and esoteric hex in your work place.

My boss is Reaver. If i take more than a 5 second break i get shot

Oh boy. I've never been a fan of that "pragmatic" pervert. Just, don't bend over to pick anything up...You will hurt a whole new visceral way.  :crying3:

If he doesn't care about your health, you need to start looking for other options.

Oh if you are worried about your eating habits, you have options. One, cutting out syrupy colas might seem harsh, but it speeds up dialysis phenomenally and thus drastically improves your healing process by dedicating more water to your metabolism which governs your healing factor. Water is life, drink a lot of it. I have to eat fast-food while on the clock, but I always eat lean grilled meats, avoiding bugers like I would avoid swallowing an irradiated tapeworm. Diet governs a lot, it can even effect your mood. I personally don't eat anything nutrionally worthless like donuts or drink soda, because I am an athelete and try to stay in sharp shape. It has amazing benifits.

I found Reaver to be funny, yet creepy at the same time.

Avoid burgers?? Hahahaha you dont know me enough do you? and as my Nutrition teeacher told me last year: Diets suck, they usually dont work

Yeah, he rubbed me the wrong way as well... well, at least he desperatly tried.

They don't. Eating healthy and forcing yourself to eat a certain procrustean way are eniterly different things. Diets and dieting have grown disaperate over the years. Just use your common sense. Should I really eat what doesn't have any value? What the price of such? It's all about dicretion and moderation. Also, I have heard from nutrionists that eating the same thing over and over again builds up specific forms of toxicity... Try to eat more broadly, Mr. Baconator.

Hardies frightens me with it's burgers...

You really don't need a bajillion quote blocks. Just enough to understand what you're responding to is fine :P

NNNnooooooooooo! That... That's just not true!
And one more just to be annoying. xD

One more for good measure

And another to be safe.

Pyramid!
Is there a limit to how much a quote can hold?

I think we will find out soon
The text is beginning to shrink.

It is

*Mr. Hand types another sentence*

Mr. Bill: Oh No!

*Crushed by Qoute Blocks.*

Keep this going

So this morning the weather was lovely, so I walked quite a bit. I'm agoraphobic, so there aren't many places I could walk, and so I chose to walk around the church across the street a number of times. Finally I found there was a cop car there. I waved "hi" as I walked past it, but then a second one came along and stopped me.

Turns out somebody at the school next to the church (this was around 8:00 AM, so school was just starting) saw me and thought I was suspicious. So I had to answer a bunch of questions, giving the cops my address, telling them my job, etc. We kind of had a laugh over it -- they told me they get calls whenever the janitor steps outside for a smoke, since you're not supposed to smoke on school property. So they let me on my way and I went straight home as soon as I finished that lap around the church. The whole thing killed the mood and I didn't want to attract any further attention.

Well this is just great. While the police seemed entirely unconcerned and told me there was no problem, I'm going to have to be careful about walking in the morning now. I don't want to be hassled again, and I certainly don't want them to get enough calls to think maybe something really is going on.

Also I worry I may have made a mistake in answering the police's questions. (Not in the sense that I fear I've made anything worse this time around, but that the potential had existed.) I was thinking that I should be OK so long as I've not been read my rights yet. But a lot of the advice I find says not to answer any questions, whether you've been read your rights yet or not. I can't help but feel that would only increase suspicion, though, and could turn a mild annoyance into an arrest.

Fun times, huh?

Yeah.  People advise to not answer anything, but that just makes the situation more of a hassle.  If you haven't done anything wrong, don't worry about answering questions.

The problem is, that can be an excellent way to get in trouble even if indeed you haven't done anything wrong. When they say "anything you say can and will be used against you" (which applies even if you haven't been read your rights), they're not kidding. Always against you, never for you. If they suspect you of a crime, they're not looking for reasons to let you go. They're looking for reasons to put you in the slammer, and they will twist the hell out of everything you say if they think it will work toward that end. You'd be amazed by the kind of crap they can pull.

What's particularly ironic is I had a dream just a couple of days ago where I made the mistake of talking to the police without a lawyer. In the dream, though, I was involved in a crime (of an entirely different nature, mind, namely theft).
