What is the difference between an ape and a monkey?
What's the difference between a housecat and a tiger?
As for the difference between them, generally speaking, apes don't have a tail and are larger and more humanlike than monkeys.
Everything creates "technology".
Ants build large tunnels.
Bees build hives.
Beavers build dams....or get drunk and run websites about 90s cartoons.
All animals have some slight form of technology they make. Humans just happen to build on their technologies.
I would say the key is innovation. Animals can't innovate except when the invisible hand of evolution guides them to, which means they never do except over the course of thousands of years, whereas humans can do it countless times in one lifetime.
That would imply that all those animals evolved through the same method apes did to become humans. Who said the evolution would yield similar results if it started from a different origin?
Heck, who says it'd yield similar results if it started from the same origin? Evolution is very much a chaotic system, where even a tiny bit of difference can cause wildly different results.

So there's a controverseal episode of Adventure Time
Controversial in what way?
(From Wikipedia, checked the refrences it all checks out)
The third season episode "What Was Missing" became controversial because of an allegedly implied past relationship between Marceline and Princess Bubblegum. The controversy largely began after an accompanying "Mathematical" recap—a behind the scenes video series produced by Frederator Studios that implied that there were lesbian relations between Princess Bubblegum and Marceline and that the writing staff actively seeks input from fans. This incident was addressed by Fred Seibert, the show's executive producer, who said that "in trying to get the show’s audience involved we got wrapped up by both fan conjecture and spicy fanart and went a little too far." Soon after, the video recap and the entire channel was pulled off of YouTube, although "What Was Missing" still airs during reruns. Seibert's decision to remove the video also proved controversial; Bitch magazine later wrote an article about how the episode "handled female desire—female queer desire at that—in a subtle but complex way", but that the removal of the recap and the studio's perceived treatment of the controversy was detrimental towards the acceptance of queer romance in children's television. Ward later addressed the issue and gave a more neutral view; he said that, because there were "so many extreme positions taken on it all over the Internet", he did not "really want to comment on it [because] it was a big hullaballoo."

Oh yes, I remember this.

"Everyone creates the thing that they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people...? CHILDREN! (chuckles) Lost the word there..."

I have it for Dreamcast
Don't you mean?
Hahaha wow, that was well-played
Humans didn't evolve from monkeys. They evolved from apes.
And apes are plenty badass if you ask me. You wanna argue with a 400-pound gorilla?
That's only for us so-called "civilized" people, who haven't had to survive in the wild for hundreds of years and so most of us have forgotten how. But there are still hunter-gatherer societies in places like the Amazon and Africa where people use very little technology and they do just fine.Take away our technology and we're food for just about everything that eats meat.
I agree, i used to watch that show Wildboyz on MTV2 some years back and Steve-O and Chris Pontius sometimes visited tribal cultures to try out their unique traditions. The tribes survived off the earth and what God provided for them to survive with. Though they were aware of modern technology that we use, like the cameras that was filming them, they were happy living off the land and not "upgrading" to modern society.

When I said "take away our technology", I meant that as in ALL technologies. Including clothing and sharpened sticks and rocks. A human without anything to aid them is no longer a hunter, but rather, the hunted.

What kind of planet are we talking about where there are still predators but not any trees to make pointy sticks with? It certainly ain't Earth. When I said "take away our technology", I meant that as in ALL technologies. Including clothing and sharpened sticks and rocks. What is the difference between an ape and a monkey?
What's the difference between a housecat and a tiger?OK, technically the distinction is arbitrary because the definition of monkey appears to be "any member of the infraorder 'Simiiformes' except for apes" (since apes are also in that infraorder). This is because the distinction was made before the scientific reclassification that put apes in the same infraorder as monkeys.
As for the difference between them, generally speaking, apes don't have a tail and are larger and more humanlike than monkeys.
So Apes are just what everyone pictures when they think Monkeys. Got it.

Every "prey" animal has some form of natural defense to protect itself from predators. Some have thick hides, some are fast, some have a smelly spray. Humans have the ability to make their own defenses. That's our natural protection, the ability to create defenses from what other animals can not.
