@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

I don't belived her at 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% (if not more).

New random topic of the day: Favorite Alien species, alignments, and what they come from. Followed by badassery (0 through 10). Followed by why you like them.

Fore me: The Things, self-aligned (if even that), and they come from John Carpenter's The Thing. Badassery scale of 10+.

I love these cosmic horrors because they're truly that: A cosmic horror from parts and history unknown. The Things are capable of taking over an entire planet's ecosystem in approximately 3 years from first contact with other intelligent life. They don't just go around killing stuff. They go around pretending to be the people and creatures they've assimilated before, until that disguise is no longer useful to them. Then, they call upon their abilities to shift to any form they can conceive of. You can't fight them in conventional senses. They have to be quarantained and systematically destroyed down to the last living cell. Fighting them will prove to be a losing game, anyhow... One would bo better to become assimilated and hope that enough of one's memories survives long enough for a new copy of who you used to be to be created, and hope that you can hijack the minds of the others in that body.

And really... Wouldn't it be cool being able to shapeshift into any form you can conceive of? Or to learn a lifetime's worth of knowledge by assimilating a dying man? Or to be virtually indestructible? Or to be able to explore regions where weaker life forms dare not to venture....

Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...

Entire world population infected 2,7000 hours from first contact.

I'm a pragmatic atheist, and reincarnation is just pure non-sense. I can't make any logical sense out of this. Reincarnation is a mix of ghost story and afterlife. All of this is too much non-sense to be taken seriously. To top all that, just for the sake of the argument, let's say it's true: you'll be the reincarnation of a celebrety (the freaking president of the United State)? What if it was a random dude from a random country who got shot in the head in a bar or something like that instead?

In order to belive in reincarnation, you need to belive in ghost in the first place. At this point, i can't see it as being real since the first step is already impossible, let along the thing that come after that before reach the state of reincarnation.

Medical science have cracked the whole DNA sequence, understand more than 95% of the entire brain fonction and how it work as a whole, discover exactly how the human body work and we are close to make cancer a curable diseased. If ghost was real (which is not), we would have find that out a while ago. Even invisible things have their evidance to proove their existance, like wind, heat, etc. If ghost would be real, they would spread some kind of energy signature or anything, something that could be found in some shape or form. The reason why we never find that out, is for the simple reason that there is nothing to be found. Ghost was always a myth, just like the bermuda triangle, the Lock Ness monster, the Yeti or the BigFoot creature. Existance of ghost always was a fictionnal story, and forever will be...
