Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Technically in Sonic Adventure 2 he threatens to blow up countries...not the earth itself.

Not neccesarily. Due to his practically endless supply of energy, he can provide himself with all the energy he needs to survive. At this point, he wouldn't need to build more robots; all the life on Earth would do one of two things:

A: Submit themselves to robotnization in order to avoid starvation and/or a long, tragic, and painful death (commit suicide in general)
B: Still deny Dr.R, and die due to one of the natural causes, and/or others, listed above.

Dr.R can create his own energy. And if you want to slap me with the Law of Conservation of Energy, let me slap this back at you: There's the ground (oil and the such), artificial light (light bulbs and the such), the air (oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, and others. And the such), and there is also the dwidling life force of the animals inside the robots.

He also has other sources of energy (most probably) but hear this: Eggman wants all of the world, and with increasing technology, and less ways to protect your data, it wouldn't be long until someone is able to hack into Eggman's data bases, copy all of his designs, and improve them to surpass Eggman's inventions. In such a case, Dr.R, knowing of his emminet defeat, will turn around the ARK, and blast out the sun. If my theory does not work, then this one will: "If I can't have Mobius, no one can!"
