That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I really enjoyed the stories. I find it strange how Archie has never revived the comics or done paperbacks. Some of the stuff they got away with was quite intense.

Well the ORIGINAL series was just comicbook versions of the show. Then they decided to do their own stories the series stopped sucking.

However since it's also owned by another company (which recently sold their rights to Nickelodian) and they just never got the rights to make any reprints.

I think I only had one issue of that, and I don't think I have it anymore (I haven't seen it anywhere, at any rate). It was one of the issues where Michaelangelo was blinded. I think even at the time I thought it was weird how different it was from the show. (I bet if I had gotten ahold of one of the Eastman & Laird issues, as opposed to the Archie ones, I'd have been in for a real shock.)

One villain I really loved from the comics was a guy called Mr Null. The more evil he became the more powerful he became until he was a full fledged demon. The turtles never did beat him since the comics ended before they could resolve things with him. He killed off this Chaotix type group of other heroes called the Mutanimals.
